Just who is going to check the doctors not reporting to the FBI? You hand a doctor a large bill and he signs off on you giving rights to purchase a gun. This is so, American enterprise, criminal yes, but so common occurring today, such as a doctor writing a prescription for drugs you don't need, but your really want them. People wanting guns will get them Obama's new Executive Actions or not.

If you can't purchase a gun, make it with metal working skills or on your own 3D printer. Need ammunition, if you can't get ammo legally, pick up shell casings and reload them to your specifications to place in your new gun you made.

Never underestimate the will of people or the American spirit of ingenuity.

What can be accomplished is removing guns from those that are mentally incapable of procuring or making a gun and we all hope they have NO skills in acquiring a weapon (gun) or funds to pay a doctor off to purchase a gun.

I see that the Public response just don't get it. While many gun owners and NRA advocates show their anger toward Obama's coming Executive Action, we see where the gun manufacturers and NRA are showing their anger behind masked faces. The gun business sees major support from America on guns and an increase revenue based on the government provoking gun control initiatives. So what, lets uncover the mask on the gun manufacturers and NRA to show their smiles and insanely greed that shows them reaping a bounty of American support and "MONEY". This business does not loose even under the most draconian measures of Gun Control. Demand goes up.............Prices go up. Technological changes to weapons cause prices to go up. Government confiscates "old" weapons not in compliance with new gun control measures means more previous gun owners buying lots more "new" guns. This makes gun manufacturers and the NRA happy. The NRA will more than likely receive lots of donations and new members meaning more money for the NRA. Now everybody is happy. America has new gun control measures, gun manufacturers making tons of money and the NRA has a new army of members and life sustaining funds to the organization.

Now..........how could that be so bad? Yes, gun manufacturers and the NRA are showing masked faces because they know they are going to get a lot of money. It's funny to watch the ignorant gun people get mad and angry at the government on gun control because they don't get it about the possibility of confiscation. Proven mentally ill, yes...........but that is proven "beyond any doubt", the courts will be slowed down again buy another factor of people objecting to some doctor calling them mentally ill. For those with a long past history of mental illness and those with violent crime histories than sorry, no gun for you. Those that cannot get a gun, the more enterprising people will find a way even if they have to make their own on a 3D printer.

I have said in past that this Gun Control measure by Obama is just a First Step of many to come. All the NRA has to do is incite public resistance, which will stall future steps in Gun Control. Watch the money, maybe the stock reporting and you will see gun manufacturers, including the NRA are not poorly impacted while receiving lots of MONEY.

While I am not agnostic and I believe entirely in God's grace and wisdom, I was struck with thought on Trump. Was it divinely sent, I cannot say, but I was struck with wisdom. Send Trump to the Middle East to negotiate peace and have him meet directly with ISIS and the Taliban. If Trump is as good as he thinks he is, maybe a peaceful deal will happen.

What's the loss? Deal or no deal. Let's have the "Deal-Maker" have his shot. Just drop ship him to a remotely deserted area where many ISIS and Taliban are located. Trump can talk all he wants and if successful, he will be our next President, if not..............again..........what's the loss?

I'm sure Doctors will get Special Incentives to allow a patient mental or not have clearance to a gun. Doctors are going to become like lawyers and make lots of money. Ethically, a Doctor should do the right thing, but Doctors are just like any human being and some will make allowances to allow a mental patient to get a gun. Just how much money are you willing to pay is the question.

I did rejoice over Obama's speech, which was probably one of his best public events. Definitely something must be done and closing the unregulated gun shows and private selling that do not need a license is a first step. Along with enhanced background checks, America has promoted Gun Control to next the level. The other defined steps Obama mentioned are going to difficult, but not impossible. American technology can make guns safer and can improve mental health issues. Just takes money and development. However, I see guns going to be a lot more expensive to own, so that means more people will be building their own guns. Remember the 50's hoodlum toting a "Zip" gun? Those were made in the High School metal shop during class. Obama's actions will not stop all the terror in America using guns, but it is a "FIRST STEP" toward improving life and promote life instead of allowing thousands to die at the hands of a gun.

Obama's analogy on relating Gun Control measures to women getting the right to vote and African Americans receiving liberty all taking decades to achieve, was right on subject. Gun Control will take decades, but if we don't start we can never succeed.

Not all of those Police are white and if the picture had shown all the Police, you would see more than the "ONE" black Policeman in your picture on the right the other "ONE" in the middle with his back facing the camera. A picture can be doctored just like anything else to promote the false agenda of others. Looks like you were caught in showing a picture depicting as white policeman holding off a peaceful "Black Lives Matters" rally. Maybe if you cropped the picture it would be a true statement, but we all know that is just poor journalism with an agenda to provoke people.

So, as the dumb cowboys in Oregon stand-off relating to Black Lives Matter, who do we allow these groups to proceed and disrupt our America? One wants to steal land and the other, well........steal the show. It's not just Black lives, it's ALL lives, period.

This mornings read has a Yahoo news from some source with a title indicating the Oregon ranchers in the standoff already have a 93% reduced land rent fee for their cattle raising. This is all about some idiot land poachers that care less about land management and all about their pleasure in going against the government. I also read where many of the ex-military and/or veterans claiming to be the military's best are fact-checked for their military careers. It was found they lie to the public about their stellar careers and boasting of medals earned and conflicts they engaged while in the military. This militia is a bunch of mental-cases and maybe the government should remove their guns because they are deemed unsafe to the public to carry or own a gun. The whole group standoff are in trouble with law and should stand in court facing felony charges. That should take their precious guns and their vote for anybody in public office.

The government is about to turn off the power to their Federal property. It's midwinter and cold. Stopping all deliveries of food and water and it won't be long they'll be leaving. Although, being possible notorious as they could be, they just might burn down the Federal building than be a whole lot more trouble. If the FBI is monitoring the situation as been told, I'm sure they are ready at a moments notice to go in, guns abasing, if necessary. We don't want another Waco or Ruby Ridge, but its all up to some stupid cowboys terrorizing the country with their ignorance.

I would like to take a few hundred acres from the Bryce Canyon, or Mt Rainier, or in the Grand Canyon. I don't believe for one second these cowboys in southeast Oregon that only try to make a settlers claim on Federal land that protects animals in their natural habitat. These arrogant cowboys only want to have their kills and tear up the land with their Gators and trucks, drink lots of beer and act like ignorant boys with guns. These numbskulls are claiming America's lands from OUR use to observe wildlife sustained. They use this land for their own purpose because THEY have guns and are stupid enough to believe they can hold America hostage. Maybe they are right that the government has encroached on land they use to use, but apparently nobody owned it and PAID taxes on it. It makes perfect sense for the Bureau of Land Management to lay claim on this land and add to it to the Federal Parks system. What doesn't make sense is these dumb cowboys want to kill as they please and tear the land as they wish. They indicated controlled burning to eradicate noxious weeds, yea sure. They did this to destroy evidence of their hunt club killing wildlife. Also, you don't personally control burn on Federal Property, which is a felony. They may have already killed the one lone xxxxttttggggg plant left on the planet. These people are exactly who Trump preaches to listening to anti-government policy.

Lawlessness and supreme law of the land is not for some radical people laying claim for federal possessed land. There is a process to USE Federal Land, which these people refuse to understand apparently because they have to PAY for USE. Why do these cowboys get a pass that other Americans have to obey to use Federal land? Why do these people in southeast Oregon get to hold hostage America for their selfish, greedy and dumb lifestyle of using as they feel they can?

So, I definitely want my claim to America's beautiful national parks, build a nice house and shoot whatever I want to shoot wildlife and hang my kills on the walls. Heck, some southeast Oregon cowboys get to do it, why can't I?

I sure don't want no WACO incident, but these people have conducted a major felony of occupying a federal facility with weapons. I believe they should all go to prison.

Mostly about collective learning is how babies learn racism and bigotry. Although some child learning exhibits show where "they were born that way", which I believe is rare. Maybe there is genetics involved or an increased pattern of learning a specific way than others, such as in attitudes toward other children with differences. I believe that way of learning is a small percentage of children as compared to adults with a racist and bigot character. Again, as I have repeat saying, seeing how children develop in school, sports and in neighborhoods, it is not by their possibility of "being born that way", it is by peers and parents that alter their thinking. Children learn and adapt by what they see and experience. If they see racism, hatreds, and bigotry than they are often believing that is acceptable. What softens the accepting beliefs from racists and bigots are friendships and people they admire who are not racists and bigots. Social learning can be an adaptation for good rather than evil tendencies depending on environment and those around you. An example is like smoking where people around you smoke your entire life, so you smoke to be like them. You care less about the health implications as you care less about how racism, hatreds and bigotry impact society. You are like those around you, a herd mentality and lifetime learning caused by hate, racism and bigotry. What can prevent this toxic learning is a traumatic event, a loving experience, and a persons experience with whom they admire, than those racists, hatreds and bigotry are suppressed. We've all been around racists and bigots practicing their hatreds, but how many of you have spoke out against these evil traits? You most likely joined into the crowd as one of THEM. I liken the learning from others that spew out their hatreds as a disease that is contagious if you do not take a stand. Look at Trump spreading his hatreds and all the people in America buying into his hatreds. Here is a fine line if you see it before you, march with Trump you spread his disease of hatred, march with another political party or candidate and you can spread social harmony and improvement in destroying racism, bigotry and hatred of people different from yourself.

As for discussion on the U.S. involvement in WWI and WWII, you need only to review the history of how long did it take for Americans to engage and convince Congress to go to War.

So, in how America delayed the engagement, by slow mobilization and political confrontations with many denying what was going on in Europe, just how many people or Jews died before we acted?

The story on rescuing Europe could have been much better if only America would have acted swiftly. I assume the best way to analyze it would be America just wasn't ready for war and during those times we battled a depression on the home front and an emerging industrial complex. I still believe, America could have saved many more Europeans if we had only acted faster to the cries of people dying.

Today, America shows some delays in reacting to conflicts around the world and it is due to political confrontations between hard-liners and liberals. After the conflict is resolved, nobody seems to care about how many died or saved if we only would have reacted swiftly to murder, mayhem and destruction on other Nations. We do have treaties with most nations in the world and in all those treaties, there are words that identify our response to aid and protection from invading countries. So, just how good is our word in those treaties?
