I believe he has done that taking the knee because of racial discrimination which is doing well in Amerika right now, it has recently reared it's ugly little head across the nation. We have white supremacists, white nationalists, the KKK and other hard right wing nutjobs trying to turn back the hands of time, Amerika is going in the wrong direction, again.

I can't say as I can blame him for his attitude and beliefs, racism didn't end when civil rights laws were enacted to rid Amerika of this racial scourge. In 200+ years, Amerika has not been the country where all men are created equal.

A little bit about my background, I am a veteran of the armed forces, and during that time, I attended quite a few funeral processions and was an honor guard member. I made many salutes to the deceased and their family members. During honor guard and color guard processions, members salute the United States flag whenever taps was blown. It was and is a way to show respect. While I'm sympathetic to Kapernick's cause, I feel he maybe should not bring his statement to public or sporting venues, however, he can use other venues such as protesting with anti white nationalist gatherings, OWS, and other places to draw attention to Amerika's problems with race.

Did you know? When the US flag is finally folded by the guard into the triangular shape, only white stars and blue background are visible?

    Thank you for your service.

I have to ask, is there a reason you spell America the way you do?

They were probably spending money rewarding positive party members. California had a positive 66% win.
Hillary won by 2,868,691 votes. She "lost" because our outdated voting system allows the minority to overrule the will of the majority.

Actually, the electoral college is a great system to have in place. If it were not in place, candidates would only have to campaign in the big cities and not have to worry about the rural areas, which are the backbone of the country. Hillary won 57/3000+ counties in America. How did she deserve to win? Smh

Hes definitly only temporary. In 7 and a half years he won't be our president.

So when Trump UNFAIRLY won the election, I promptly took to Twitter to proclaim that he was not MY president. I went on believing from that day on that he was not my president. However, a few weeks ago, my buddy was telling me that Trump indeed was my president after all. He asked me to point to where I lived on a globe and lol and behold I actually resided in an area where Trump was indeed president. I guess you really do learn something new each day. I may not care that much for Trump but at least I do indeed know that Trump is my president.

I'm hearing a lot of bitching n moaning about healthcare lately and how expensive it is. What if I told you that there are places in each county in each state in this gr8 country where you can get FREE healthcare. If you give me the county you live in, I can find your free healthcare center. Every county has one! For example, I live in Chicago so my free healthcare center is at 2700 S Sacramento.

Welcome aboard joe, I'm a newbie here myself, and I'm a neighbor to you living in cheeseland.

I hope your last name isn't Biden, because I would need to vacuum the rug and clean up our back yard in preparation for your visit!
