I lived in NJ until I was 43. Moved to WA State so that my Flight Attendant wife could be near her family in Portland. 30 years and I still haven't acclimated! Ha!
I was in the USN from 1962 to 1967. Got out and went to school did an AA, BA and MA. 13 years later got the PhD. Going to move back to the Jersey Shore this Spring. I will continue to DVR TRMS, etc. until my ashes are cast into the magnificent Atlantic!
I have found my self at 73, a veteran of the Vietnam War and a few lesser excursions, becoming more interested in All of the people in the USA. Any affiliation with any Republican politician has become virtually impossible.
Also, My state is in the top three of per capita poverty, with NJ and NM. And I am from NJ! This is just wrong! $447 a month for a mother of 2 on TANF! Food stamps reduced. I am utterly amazed at what the NEO Republican party thinks, perpetuates and spews on a daily basis. It's insane!
