U.S. Racial\Ethnic Minorities
Have you ever had someone ask you why you just don't just leave the country whenever you express even the slightest frustration with the status quo? It's a common refrain from those who believe in American exceptionalism and is something I've heard so often that I've begun to push back more forcefully against those who suggest I leave my homeland because I have the gall to question
The decision to not indict Officer Darren Wilson for his role in the shooting death of Michael Brown shines a spotlight on the flawed criminal justice system that we have set up in this country. An unarmed teenager was shot and killed by a police officer and that officer will never see the inside of a criminal courtroom.
America has her share of legitimate federal holidays. We rightfully celebrate our first President's birthday, a civil rights icon, our independence, soldiers who fought and died for our country, and even sprinkle in a couple blatantly religious holidays to boot. However, there is one holiday we as a nation should seriously reconsider if we are going to be honest about our true history.
We're a day or so past the halfway point of February, and that means Black History Month is also more than halfway through.

"Almost no black people today care about Kwanzaa -- just white left-wingers who try to shove this down black people's throats in an effort to divide Americans," Grothman said in a press release, according to Patch. "Why must we still hear about Kwanzaa?" Grothman asked. "Why are hard-core left wingers still trying to talk about Kwanzaa -- the supposed African-American holiday celebration between Christmas and New Year’s?"
“Slavery was cruel, but as a result of slavery, we have African-Americans living in this country today who are living here in situations that are probably much better to endure than if they were living in Sub-Saharan Africa. If you had the choice knowing the lifestyle of people living in Africa and knowing the lifestyle of people living in the United States, which would you choose? Pure and simple.”
“… the institution of slavery that the black race has long believed to be an abomination upon its people may actually have been a blessing in disguise. The blacks who could endure those conditions and circumstances would someday be rewarded with citizenship in the greatest nation ever established upon the face of the Earth.”

Anti-white organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League, Southern Poverty Law Center and National Association for the Advancement of Colored People try to push their agendas and extort police, schools and businesses with their often- false claims of “racism.”I, and a few other local activists, have stood up to these tactics and will continue to do so. Hopefully, more people will join us before it’s too late."
