The Clinton Foundation has been the topic of seemingly endless media attention ever since Secretary Clinton announced her intention to run for President, but what the media has been eerily silent about is the other Clinton Foundation that the family runs - The Clinton Family Foundation.
For those of us who were first introduced to Senator Tim Kaine at the Miami Clinton/Kaine rally at Florida International University expecting a boring “Mike Pence like” white guy speech, we were surprised and blown away. We witnessed an energetic, animated, and smiling Tim Kaine give an inspiring speech captivating all of us with his every word.
If you are going to watch one single documentary about higher education in the United States, you can do no better than CNN's 'Ivory Tower'. Is College Worth It? That's the question Director Andrew Rossi sets out to answer. The points made in this documentary are nuanced, and the answers are many.
Since her first running against Republican state Sen. John Blust in Greensboro 1998, Kay Hagan has been a tough competitor for the Democratic party. Will this be the year she is unseated? There are nine polls that show it's a very close race at the moment. Six of the polls show Hagan ahead marginally by 4-5 points, and one shows Tillis ahead with a five point lead.
Don't worry Democrats--everything is going to be alright! We will live to see another day regardless of the agony you are feeling right now. It was a tough night for Democrats, but all is not lost. Now we can all sit back and watch the Republican party implode before our very eyes. I imagine it is going to be rather fun to watch.
"Sometimes I can't believe the things you say, Tom. So let's talk about the specifics." That was a response by current Governor Dannel Malloy to his running mate (R) Tom Foley, during their CBA debate to decide the next governor for Connecticut. And I think that line sums up well the feel of this gubernatorial race.
How difficult is it to remember what state you work in and who your current employer is? My guess is that nearly everyone in this country knows the answer to these two simple questions, but you can add Scott Brown to the list of individuals who has difficulty answering them.
