  • Donald Trump claims the bible is his "first favorite book, by far" and "of all time". But when asked repeatedly by reporters what his favorite verse is from the book, he refuses to answer. On Sarah Palin's 'On Air' show, Trump and Palin take turns complaining about the legitimacy of the question, Trump citing it's too "personal" a question to answer to strangers.
  • The Palin family was involved in a verbal and physical altercation at a birthday party they recently attend in Alaska. Multiple witnesses have come forward and claimed the brawl started shortly after the family arrived in their stretch hummer and Palin's son Track spotted a former boyfriend of Willow Palin. The witnesses say it only escalated from there with "Palin women screaming. Palin men thumping their chests. Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly." The Palin's were then asked to leave the party by the owner of the house, who was reportedly struck by Bristol Palin a number of times. No charges have been filed as of yet, but the police say they are investigating the brawl and will release more information at a later date.
  • A group of military veterans who took part in the "Million Veterans March" are furious that the Tea Party took over their demonstration for political reasons. The group was in Washington, D.C. to protest the closure of the World War II memorial during the federal government shut down, but claimed that they were apolitical and did not want the Tea Party to take part in the demonstration. The group wrote on their Facebook page that they were "disheartened that some would seek to hijack the narrative for political gain."
  • North Jersey Media Group recently sued Sarah Palin and her political action committee for using a photograph from 9/11 that the company has exclusive rights to. The iconic photograph shows three firefighters raising the American flag on top of the ruins of the World Trade Center. The company released a statement that they asked both Palin and her PAC to remove the photograph before they decided to file suit.

  • The Republican National Committee (RNC) spent $150,000 of campaign contributions on clothing, hair styling, and makeup for Sarah Palin and her family in September 2008. Multiple shopping sprees at Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and other high end stores were reported. Campaign spokespersons stated the clothing would be going to charity after the election. Palin and some media outlets blamed gender bias for the controversy. At the end of the campaign, Palin returned the clothes to the RNC.
