No one in the media--mainstream or otherwise, including the liberal talk show hosts on MSNBC--have touched what I think is a vital issue. John Boehner, Ted Cruz, Kevin McCarthy, Eric Cantor, Mitch McConnell, and their many lemmings and luddites, tea party and otherwise, have set about to destroy our President and the Democratic structure of our Nation built up since the New Deal. They have refused to participate in governance, in violation of their oaths of office and their Constitutional mandate under Article III.
There should be some way to bring impeachment proceedings against each and all of them, because they are destroying the fabric of the country, its standing in the world, and severely diminishing our strength at home and abroad.
I am not so naïve to think that any such action will take place, but the suggestion is not nearly so ludicrous or outrageous as the vitriol spewing from the mouths of the likes of Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O' Reilly, Sean Hannity, and dozens of other Koch brother minions.
    What think my fellow libs?

We've been posting similar views, but there is always one thing that stands out amongst all the evil flying monkeys in the Republican/Tea Party whelm is their leaders Palin (the wicked witch of the west) and Rush Limbaugh (the Pope of the Party). I agree there exists a conspiracy funded by many wealthy citizens, such as the Koch brothers, however, there are much more wealthy participants in this conspiracy. There is so much money traffic in the political system that if used for America, we would have solved our debt, infrastructure, AIDS, cancer and still have enough to resurrect Social Security and pay for the ACA.

Follow the money if you can and locate the source of this maneuvering of our politicians.

You are absolutely right; the "money" drives their reasoning. I guess right now in politics it is "me, me, me, me" and my wallet and ego.
Brains are optional; according to them the only part of your brain which should work, is the animal instinct "survival" and it is my "catch".

    L.A.:

God may well have had a "65 Super Sport, but He also drove a Camaro.

The car pictured below last sold in 2004 for $37,000.

That may seem like a lot of money, until you consider that it's a 500 horsepower 427 Camaro, with a very famous pedigree.

    http://articles.latimes.com/2004/sep/26/nation/na-koresh26

It has had several owners over the years, but the most famous owner is a man named Vernon Wayne Howell, If if that name doesn't sound familiar to you, you'll probably recognize the name that he changed to in 1990.

    David Koresh.

His life history can be found at the link below, but here's the short version:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Koresh

He was born to a 14 year old unwed mother named Bonnie Sue Clark in 1959. (Bonnie Sue Clark had several romantic relationships, and was eventually stabbed to death by her own sister in 2009.)

Koresh lived a troubled childhood, and dropped out of high school in his junior year.

He joined the Branch Davidians (an offshoot of the Seventh Day Adventists) when he was 22, and took control of the organization 8 years later

The raid by government forees in 1993 didn't come to conclusion as planned, but ultimately led to two significant developments.

One was good, and the other was bad.

On the good side, the raid caused the FBI and the ATF to revise their procedures so that could work together better on future missions.

On the bad side, the loss of life at the compound (76 Branch Davidians) angered a former veteran named Timothy McVeigh. Two years to the day of the final raid on the Branch Davidian compound, McVeigh parked a truck laden with fertilizer in front of a government building in Oklahome City, and killed 168 people.

Koresh started getting messages from God as early as 1985, and had long considered himself to be a prophet. Even 20 years later, though, there are still a number of his followers who are convinced that "David" is going to return to the earth again as the next Messiah:

    http://www.mrt.com/top_stories/article_d878f490-a8ab-11e2-85c7-001a4bcf887a.html

The ultimate irony of the car pictured above is this:

Koresh was one of the 76 people who perished in the fire at the compound. According to the most reliable estimates, the Branch Davidians themselves set the fires in the buildings, mimicking the self destruction that killed 909 people at Jonestown (in Guyana) in 1978.

The car that he owned was the ultimate "burnout machine", which you can see in the attached video:

I guess you are mistaken; as you know the Pope lives in Italy, where they built Ferrari's; he blesses every one. In the evening he sneaks out with a beatle wig on and fake tatoo's; opens his 20 car garage and goes for a spin. he plans to take a few of them with him to heaven.
God himself only drives a camel, because up there they did not invent cars yet, neither gasoline. Even the camel died recently, because on Mars there was no food for it.

Gosh, folks--can't we stick to the subject at hand? Is no one interested in the abject, conscious, intentional, selfish and anti-patriotic actions of the GOP? What do you think will happen in January and February, when we again are faced with a government shutdown, and global calamity resulting from the refusal of the Republicans to raise the debt ceiling??

I'm waiting for the circus acts next year. While our President walks the high wire, Ted Cruz and Mitch McConnell are violently shaking the wire. John Boehner is on the ground as the Grand Master of the circus warming up the crowd for the fall. The circus animals made up of Republicans and Tea Party are walking the circle around the circus rings. There's Palin Elephants, Akins Monkeys, Bachman Hyenas, Cantor dancing bears, and Rush Limbaugh wearing one of those stripped propeller caps stuffing his face with popcorn in the stands. Hannity, Beck and O'Reilly are underneath the stands looking up the dresses of the party fund raisers. Yes, the Koch brother's wear dresses! yuck

Oh, we have fun sometimes, because you have to in this circus event of a congress. The year 2014 is going to be ripe with a stench of conspiracy and questionable money being thrown into electing Republicans and Tea Party candidates into Congress. Just imagine the humor in the stink and don't get too hostile. America needs your vote for the Democratic process to succeed. We do not need our freedoms stepped on ridiculing our women, children, jobless, minorities and people without healthcare. I always find that being of liberal minded thinking I'm better able to rationalize what makes common sense for all of America. I do not support a big money pocket Congress that deals favoritism to who has the most funds.

Walk with your head held high because if it gets too low, you'll smell the crap left behind by Republicans and Tea Partiers. You might carry a club to ward off the evil flying monkeys sent by the Wicked Witch of the West Palin and Wicked Witch of East Bachman.

After the last shutdown and near default on our debt, I'm having a hard time believing that the Republicans will go there again. After the hit they took after the last shutdown, they only got bailed out by the problems with the roll-out of the Affordable Care Act. Americans have already forgotten about the shutdown debacle, and going there again will remind them of that and bail Obama out on any residual ACA problems.

On the other hand, there is nothing rational or logical that drives these people. Their minds have been so conditioned to hate Obama, that they are incapable of critical thinking or putting America's interest first. I don't think they'll do it but you can never predict the crazies.

Man, I've gotta stop wearing this crown. I woke up this morning with a terrible headache, & then went to the Forum to expound on the usual topics of assassination and corruption, & flying monkeys. When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but shit-faced drunk donkeys, still guzzling their beer. They all gave a cheer, as they broke into 3rd gear, on their first "test drive" of the year. But never fear, pretend not to hear, as they smashed like a mirror, without warning. What a morning! Now, as Ed Schultz says, "Let's Get to Work" : ) : )

The Ethics Committee in the House, or the Ethics Committee of the Senate can recommend that the whole body look into the crimes or violations of any single members in question. Any who are suspected of serious misbehavior can be censured, or be forced to undergo rehabilitation, like the one who recently was found to be doing "cocaine" frequently. (I personally do not think they should be allowed to remain a member of Congress if doing a lot of cocaine, since they are basically getting PAID to THINK, & I believe cocaine does not add to one's intellectual abilities, but instead it weakens them. If they do not respect the office of Senator or Congressman enough to keep their mind alert while doing their duties, then they are basically unqualified to do the job). Also, WHY should WE the taxpayers have to PAY THEM while they are off duty getting rehab? If WE had to get rehab, we would not be getting paid, while lounging around some plush "celebrity resort" in Florida. WHY should they be getting PAID for NOT WORKING? It is bad enough that most of Congress does not work (especially the House) most of the time, anyway.

There is no provision in our regular Constitution for We the People to IMPEACH the members of Congress, so they have to do the job their own way, as provided by Congressional rules. But WE can always UNELECT them by VOTING for someone else, the next time that Congressman runs for their office. We can campaign against them, or support the opposing candidate. Write letters, donations, etc.

By the way, isn't Harry Reid the GREATEST? He is SO BRAVE, using the "Nuclear Option" to stop the Republicans from mis-using & abusing the old
FILIBUSTER, which has been overly used, beyond comprehension, for way too long.
----- THANK YOU, HARRY REID. All of America thanks you for your very honorable service.

"Alright congress, you heard it. The people have spoken, lay down your vast power and control on us and back up slowly. We promise not to pout if you keep your hands out of our pockets!" I have to admit I loath politics, but they keep jacking me and my business around. I got so fed up that I stood up chewed out both the democrat and the republican (and I think there was a third party guy too) telling them that I was sick and tired of watching them play tug-a-war with my power "the struggle is not between this party or that party, the struggle is between the people and their government." For me it's clear that every time we make these campaigns to out a party, we only increase their campaign coffers. The Republicans (and Democrats) will bring up a hot topic issue that will NEVER get passed, insane to be passed, and of course their antagonists will scream foul and panic and now its a national issue. We're all talking about it, and throwing money at all the goons to stop/maintain it. I'm tired of it. I really am. The people are getting s#@t on and only "they" have the power to stop themselves.

Also, wasn't the TEA party originally a libertarian movement? I had this discussion the other day and we were amazed at how it became a republican movement. I have some pretty angry TEA party VET buddy's that are clearly not republican. Sorry for the rant, I hardly never like to vent on line (that's what my wife's for...lucky her.)
