President Obama nominated Jeh Johnson to be the next Secretary of Homeland Security yesterday, after Janet Napolitano left to run the University of California system. The move signals that President Obama intends to continue the counter terrorism policies that have defined his first term because Mr. Johnson is considered one of the main individuals behind the administrations current legal interpretation regarding the war on terrorism. On the other hand, Mr. Johnson is also credited with helping repeal the abysmal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy ended thousands of military careers throughout its twenty years of existence.

What does everyone think of Jeh Johnson's nomination? Is it just proof that things will not be changing at all with regard to our national security policy, or will he bring change to the system?
