Ben Affleck's film Argo walks away with the Academy Award for Best Picture at the 2013 Oscars. He bet out the likes of 'Life of Pi' and 'Django Unchained' (two movies I personally would have rather seen win). He also bet 'Zero Dark Thirty', the film portraying the eventual killing of Osama Bin Laden.

Thought it was interesting to note that Michelle Obama announced the winner; would have looked quite awkward if Zero Dark Thirty would have won, like some kind of propaganda was going on. That's how it felt to me anyways. I perked up when I saw her come on, very interested to see if that was in fact what was about to happen. But, nope. The safe pick one: Argo. Argo's also a political type movie, which more clearly makes sense on why she made the guest appearance. I personally thought Argo was a fairly forgettable, weakish kind of movie. But, I have a few friends that loved it. Am I alone in this? What movie do you think should have won?
