Ever get confused about who hates whom and who like whom in the Middle East? I do all the time. So here is an awesome diagram by a well known Egyptian blogger explaining it as simply as possible.

    Here

Now, as the article states, there are two types of players in the diagram, meddlers and meddlees. United States, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and Israel exert influence over Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories in order to further their own interests. And of course their interests rarely coincide. When they do coincide, there will be a brief alliance lasting a couple years and then they go back to conflicting. No wonder the place is so destabalized

I knew this all along; our company always briefed us when we travelled there. Again it shows that the US is too arrogant to realize this is a giant ant heap, do not step into it or you will be sorry.

The latest, also Italian warships joined the party; open up the Chianti!! (on the Dutch news)
There are now so many warschips there, I'm not surprised if they will run into each other; lots of fun for sure.
