Yesterday President Obama made it clear he is going to attack the Syrian government, yet President Obama has no clue or evidence as to what if any part of the Syria government was behind the chemical attack that killed a hundred Syrians. For all we know it could of been terrorist or maybe even our CIA that let the gas go, yet our president is ready to start dropping smart bombs!

Smart for the war toy makers dumb for the majority, or maybe President Barrack Obama is willing to start war because he likes a different Muslim Nation that doesn't like Syria, either way, a war without evidence or reason does the majority nothing. I thought for sure we were done starting wars for money when war pig Bush disappeared from the public eye, looks like I maybe wrong, we will see when we hear the big bang of tax dollars being wasted, with no good coming to the majorities just more death once again.

There are finally some legitimate complaints about the Obama administration, this is one of them. Saying that there is no evidence but be wrong, there is just no evidence or cause that has been made public. But with American History of military conflicts being super sketchy, I'm hesitant to get behind this.

Nixon made up reasons to go into Vietnam

Bush 41 Admin had a 15 yr old Kuwaiti girl testify to Congress that children were being taken away from there parents and killed by Iraqi soldiers. That girl turned out the be the Kuwaiti Ambassador's daughter and was all lies.

And Bush 43 Admin had fabricated claims of WMDs and ties to Osama Bin Laden to invade Iraq.

Without UN support nor the support of any of our allies, I'm sure this will turn out WAY better.......

This is a side of our president I don't want to see, but the systems control runs very deep in both parties.

What I find the worst part of the whole thing is; the enormous hypocracy related to the killing of these people. I guess most of the US has forgotten the terrible things we did in Vietnam with our chemical weapons ( I consider napalm and agent orange a chemical!) How many people who never attacked us were killed by us since WWII?
I'm surprised that no one has the guts to bring this forward; this Kerry guy is indeed the biggest hypocrite ever.

I agree no one has the guts to say we use chemicals, not only that, we killed just like you said many since World War II, what is really the difference if one dies from a chemical burn or a gun powder burn, you are dead either way. Just because they used a "scary" chemical to kill it is different, I don't think so.

The point is Agent Orange is a chemical, also Napalm is a chemical composition; the UN mandate has these not listed originally since it was mandated just after WWI, because it was not invented yet; of course the US made sure these were not listed before Vietnam since these were developped after WWII. May be Napalm is now on the list, I do not know for sure.

Zach says that ..."There are finally some legitimate complaints about the Obama administration..."...

    FINALLY???

I guess you are forgetting that in his first year President Obama decided to expand the war in Afghanistan sending 30,000 additional troops into that useless conflict.

If that is not a ..."legitimate complaint"... then I don't know what is. We elected Obama for many reasons but TO END THE WARS was as big a reason as any. I was dismayed when he decided to "surge" the war which cost an untold number of lives and billions and accomplished nothing.

Jamesn, as always right on. As I said many times a figurehead like a President, is actually not in power; the lobbyist are, as well as some billionairs.
The president is a pure puppet carrying out their wishes nothing else.

It is sure nice to have a Democratic President, we may as well kept Bush and Cheney. Unbelievable hypocrits. THE US USED CHEMICAL WARFARE TOOLS MANY TIMES; so do we love poor little kids? I guess not.

I feel Afgahnistan was a legitimate conflict. But I was referring to piles and piles of fabricated and manufactured scandals over the years.

No, Zach; Afghanistan was not a legitimate conflict; we should have gone only after the culprits; not attack a whole country of which poor inhabitants barely know where the US is. No we are the culprits and warmongers since WWII.
How many innocent life's has this war cost? Let alone 12 years of un-needed war and destruction? The real culprits are now a larger group than ever
So fantastic results, I must say, be proud of it, now we are broke, congratulations America.

Now without evidence still, President Obama has put going to war to a vote, what, he doesn't want to be blamed for the death that comes with war alone? It is time he grows a set and mans up to the system that want more and more and more war, this is why we elected a Democrat president over another war monger Republican president, or what is going on now, has Obama changed parties or have the war lobbyist taken over the Democrat party the same as they took over the Republicans?

This what happens when you get entrenched political parties running the show that is Washington D.C., these politicians (both sides of the aisle) have forgotten the fact that this Nation is a Republic governed by Democratic Rules, you have the Executive branch, along with the Legislative branch coupled with the Judicial branch all telling us, the citizens, how to live according to the standards that they set, they have forgotten what procedure put them there and for what reasons they were sent there, this is still a Nation for the people and by the people and we, as the citizens of this country, should remind these power seeking and power driven politicians of that fact, we have a good chance to exercise that idea this November, both parties count on a low voter turnout to continue their self destructive policies, so to return this country to Fiscal sanity along with a political stability and creditability , get out and vote, learn the issue's , ask questions and get answers to your questions ,but above all, VOTE..

The latest: Mc Cain met with Obama and is now buddies with him, Wow I'm impressed!! McCain the biggest warmonger of them all; I guess the "dollar" signs in his eyes have won over railroading Obama. He can make a lot more money (by approving such attack) from the lobbyist of the war industry. Thank "whatever god" that he never made it becoming President; Can you imagine him and Palin creating dozens of wars all over?
Obama said yes he wants to destroy the weapons stacked by Assad; I guess this guy is not so stupid that he has these all in one place to be seen by satelites etc. Anyway Israel fired a test missile (together with the US) just to warn, I guess. Sure a smart thing to do ,getting more Arabs annoyed.

If I had my way I would fire the whole Washington bunch; institute term limits (also for Mc Cain and gang) and start a multi party system. Abolish lobbying and campaign reforms (take the "bribery" money out of elections)

If we stay on this path then Napoleon has her-risen in the form of Obama/McCain; Waterloo is around the corner.

Obama is polling only the warmongers in the U.S. Congress to get their OK to bomb Syria. Obama must think the American people are really, really stupid!!
