If Hillary doesn't run for president, then who else do the Democrats have?

That was the topic of a radio talk show this morning. They weren't suggesting that she won't run, just wondering who the nominee would be if she decides to stay retired.

Biden was down the list, unfavorable because of his age and tendency to say the wrong thing at the worst times.

I assume Hillary will run and I think most people do too, but if not, who else is there?

What about me? I could buy a wig and look like her!! I guess in this country it must be an easy job; since the governing in Congress is lacking, you may as well take a long vacation and only wave to the public and wash your dog once in a while. If you do not like someone just sent in a drone.
I would love such job, maybe the easyist way to become a billionar.

    Dutch Why NOT you?

I don't think you could do any worse than the crooks that are in Washington now.

One problem: I doubt that you are dishonest enough to get your name on the ballot. You'd have to sell out to the big money interests and yes you'd get lots of money, but then you'd be controlled by the lobbyists and I'm not sure that you are enough of a criminal to do that and make it in big-time politics in this country.

But sure, I just may vote for you. OK, we got Hillary, and Dutch...then who?

Sure I feel very flattered; however a nuthead like me is only suited for alligator food here in Fl. I think you are much better suited for that job.
Do not forget you have to be born here!! I'm not!! How about a Kardashian with big boobs?

Good suggestions, from you guys. But in 240 years, it has always been a MAN, and while many of them have been fantastic, it's about time we let a female run the show. In other countries, there have been many Queens, and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and Israel's Golda Maier. There must be a few ladies who would like the chance here. If she was not already busy, Nancy Pelosi would be a good choice, and I'd even vote for Rachel Maddow. She is brilliant, & has a lot of media savvy, & steady liberal values. And after playing Nancy Reagan in a movie, we should finally give Jane Fonda a chance for the Presidency. (ha) But really, she and Ted Turner have always been great Democratic activists. The CNN network would not be here if not for Ted, & Jane Fonda has given us many memorable movie performances. She is politically dedicated, with all the same skills as a politician, being a lifelong actress. Of course Hillary would be fantastic as President. No doubt. -- There must be a few dozen other ideas?

The thing is lately; whoever we elect, they refuse to do the job for which they were elected. Slowly but surely this country has become unmanageable. It is run by lobbyist, big money and the military. The approval rate of Congress is 10%. Thus in other words we may as well get a sexy Queen who only is allowed to shake hands and hand out ribbons and open an art show, as well wave at the stupid people. The Presidential job is right now nothing more than a figure head only. So anyone can do this job as long they can jab their mouth and smile even at funerals.

Hillary voted for the Iraq war.
Hillary voted for the PATRIOT Act TWICE.
Hillary voted for every debt ceiling increase.
Hillary is a member of the neocon CFR.
Hillary embodies all the failures of the last 2 decades.

There must be someone better than Hillary.

Who do you think is better? Who has a better chance? It has to be someone electable. Who is out there that is better AND electable??

We are more than 3 years from the election so we don't know anything, and half of what we think we know will change.

3 years before the 2008 election how many people outside of Illinois had even heard of Barack Obama? No one. 2008 was going to be between Hillary and Guiliani, remember?

Hillary has experience/qualifications, name recognition, big money behind her, and she's already campaigning. Plus who wouldn't want to see Bill back in the White House? (Hide the women!!!)

Right now I think Hillary is the favorite, and I don't know who's in second place but it's not close.

Chris Christi is already busy for 2016; I guess he's got a lot going for him and see him may be become more popular than Hillary.
I guess he knows how to play both sides; Hillary does not.

Yes I know that Chris Christie seems like a possibility for the Republicans but my original question was "Who will get the nomination if not Hillary?" referring to the Democratic nomination.

Hillary seems like the overwhelming favorite for the Democratic nomination right now, 3 years before the election, but if it is not her for whatever reason, then who else is there?

    Biden? I don't think so.

I don't know why she would want it, but it would be nice for Hilary to have her moment in the sun. She has worked her whole life for this chance, & she got brushed aside by the Democratic Party just when she was at the peak of her perfection, physically & mentally. That must have been a very bad blow to her sense of purpose & optimism. She had that horrible experience with Bill in the White House, but he still turned out to be one of the very BEST Presidents we have ever had, despite the hint of scandal that went on. While thinking of Monica, remember this: Monica was the little intern of Bill's, & her very best friend was Linda Tripp. By some strange "coincidence" -- Linda Tripp just happened to be Daddy BUSH's "intern." Now just think of all the possibilities in that scenario. Linda Tripp was always giving Monica "advice" over the phone, on how to entrap Bill Clinton in some kind of shady behavior. Monica cried to Bill how she was lonely & played upon his sympathies. He tried to comfort her & bought her a book or 2, and
talked to her on the phone a lot. Meanwhile, Linda Tripp was giving advice on how to cause a scandal that would ruin Bill Clinton's reputation. And it could actually lead to his impeachment. (Linda Tripp worked for Daddy Bush (GOP) who would naturally love to destroy Bill Clinton anyway he could).
SO Monica was either awful naiive & "fell for" the gambit, or else she was paid off to collaborate with the Republican plot. Either way, the so-called scandal was nothing more than an evil attempt to destroy a Democrat's Presidency & possibly pull a blackmail scam. (Repubs under Nixon had tried various "dirty tricks" to try to blackmail Democratic Congressmen, at the WaterGate Hotel). However, you may recall that BOTH Bill & Monica have testified under oath, that they did NOT have sex. And nobody else in the world could possibly know the facts, one way or another. It is true that Bill Clinton was "impeached" -- that only means they brought charges against him. But he was found NOT GUILTY. (I repeat he is NOT GUILTY)...

Due to Linda Tripp & her little "dirty tricks" they could have ruined Bill's Presidency, his reputation, his marriage, & his ability to use his education & experience in any other profession. The GOP systematically tried to DESTROY that man. But thanks to Hillary, she eventually realized that it had been a plot -- the "vast right wing conspiracy" -- & she forgave him, & life goes on. But in RETRIBUTION, it would be a perfect happy ending to see Bill AND Hillary back in the White House again, because they both have better knowledge of all levels of public service than anybody else.

The U.S. Government is representing the Robber Barons and their Stooges since bribes have turned it into a corrupt sewer and as long as that sewer remains America will never be able to resolve its serious problems.
