"We should not be judged on how many new laws we create. We ought to be judged on how many laws we repeal." -- House Speaker John Boehner on CBS

In the first six months of 2013, Congress has passed only 15 bills that have become law. At this pace, they will be even less productive than the preceding Congress (2011-2013) that passed only 23 laws that were enacted.

In the meantime they have repealed Obamacare some 38 or 39 times. It's what they do to pass the time at taxpayers expense kmowing full well that the Senate will not follow their stupidity and ignorance.

Congress continues to suffer from record-low approval ratings, much of it due to Boehner. Nevertheless, every piece of legislation that is blocked or repealed is considered a badge of honor for those Tea Party Republicans that were elected on a "no compromise - stop government" platform.

If John Boehner wants to be judged on how many times his House of Representatives has repealed Obamacare, then I'll happily judge him on that, and also label him as the worst Speaker of the House..ever.

Since Moscow Mitch has been nothing but an obstructionist since 2008, we have all forgotten how bad John Boehner was. Before he was the Speaker of the House, he actually passed out checks from tobacco companies to people in the House in order to secure their votes.

In case you are wondering what happened to Mr. Boehner, you'll be happy to know that in September 2016, Squire Patton Boggs, the third largest lobbying firm in the U.S., announced that Boehner would join their firm. It was also announced that Boehner would become a board member of Reynolds American, the second biggest tobacco firm in the U.S., for an estimated annual salary of $400,000. When he was Speaker, his salary was $223,500. His pension is roughly $ 86,600, which means he is making nearly $500,000 a year in his "retirement years".

Someone should put all lobbyists and politicians on a Titanic sized ship and point it to an iceberg, that would be a good start.

"Titanic had a maximum capacity of 3327, but on her one and only voyage, around 2224 passengers and crew were on board. However, her 20 lifeboats were capable of carrying 1178 at most."

John Boehner should go f*^k himself.

But yeah the people here only complain and do nothing; if you see Hong Kong, their actions got finally result because of determination. What happened with the anti-gun demonstrations here and the "kids" who demonstrated against "guns" ?

No result because of no determination as well stamina. Also New Zealand got results on gun control. Thus why not here? The answer is: They are in love with guns here as well the Trump regime. So let them; in the end they will know the Titanic results. Amen
