Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson will be hosting the remake of Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" in 2014. I personally loved "Cosmos." I watched it as a kid and still watch from time to time on Netflix. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. I look forward to seeing the remake which should include all the new discoveries over the last 25 years.

Yes, wasn't that a great show? "Cosmos"? All the special effects helped to make that show, and now those are much better than 25 yrs ago. I will look forward to seeing Carl Sagan mentally resurrected, since his voice and brilliant mind still are inspirational to my love of Science. I remember the TV series, & the book, -- & especially the movie "Contact" (1997) made from Sagan's novel. Also, Carl Sagan was partially responsible for Project SETI, the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence. What a career he has had. Inspired a whole lot of budding new scientists.
