Winston Churchill will forever be remembered as the man that guided Great Britain through the darkest days of World War II. When so many thought that Britain will fall and hand the entire continent of Europe to the Germans, Mr. Churchill took to the airwaves and gave one of the most memorable speeches of all time. Declaring that Britain "shall never surrender." This speech, among many others, undoubtedly gave Britain's hope that there would be a positive end to the horrendous war they were going through.

The Prime Minister of Great Britain during that war is one of a few people I think of when I ponder about the war. Mr. Churchill, along with Franklin Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin, somehow were able to join forces during the war to defeat the Nazi's. We all know what happened after the war, but I sometimes wonder if either of these three countries had different leaders at the time that things might have wound up much differently.
