There are very few people in history that are remembered by their first names and the former ruler of the French empire is one of them. Napoleon Bonaparte, otherwise known as Napoleon, ruled France and Italy for nearly a decade before he was forced into exile towards the end of his life. His reign was filled with countless wars that plagued the European continent for centuries and he certainly left his stamp that has been felt on the continent ever since.
Napoleon is not my forte, but I'm interested if anyone on the site has more to add about his reign. Thoughts on Napoleon and his years in power?
