Yesterday's Huffington Post published an article that indicated that Ted Cruz (the most hated man in the Senate) is considering a run for the Presidency in 2016. The article also mentioned that Rick Santorum and Rand Paul are also considering running.

If you think that's nuts (as I do) you may also be interested to know that the Tea Party Leadership Fund is EXCITED about the possibility
    of Senator Palin from Alaska.

May be that is a great idea; we are now going slowly down the drain; so if we get one of those nutheads this will speed things up and we can rebuilt on the ruins; history all over again. Lets dig up Paul Revere.

I was under the impression Cruz was born in Canada to American parents. Doesn't that make him ineligible to be POTUS? As for Sarah the P she may signal the end of the Tea Party if she were to run but let's face it - she's too lazy to do anything other than shoot her big mouth off. She couldn't even handle being the half-governor of Alaska. I don't really think the Tea Party is viable anymore. They had their day in the sun and it's setting on them now.

The Republicans have lost the civil war with the TeaParty. The next election should be interesting in that during the last off year election the TPs did gat a bunch into congress. But they got a blackeye during the last election and their soul serching said they weren't nutty enough.
If Democrats can't win the next election then they also need to figure out how to get people to vote in an off year.

He can be interested as much as he wants to be, but there would be next to zero chance of him ever actually being elected President. I don't have an over abundance of faith in the American public at large at this point in time, but I would say with a hopeful dose of confidence that a hate and fear mongering individual like Mr. Cruz would never be able to build a campaign apparatus that would put him over 270 electoral votes in a general election.

What is much more likely is that he will enjoy his Senate seat for many years to come, which will give him endless opportunities to shape the national conversation to his liking. Conservative talk radio and television networks love him and he has much more power in the Senate than he ever would as President (as our current President is unfortunately finding out). He can say whatever comes to his mind with zero thoughts of any repercussion from deeply red Texas, which he has already shown countless times in his short tenure as the junior Senator from there. He would not be able to do that if he ever wanted to run for the Presidency.

I think he's pushing this story because he craves media attention. I don't think he is seriously considering a genuine Presidential run for one second, but is instead enjoying the sound of his own voice on television and radio.

We as a Country will not go down the tubes, we as Christians are moving, we demand integrity, truthfulness, transparency from the small group on Capitol Hill, God is not moved or shaken, He is still on the throne, it is not the governments responsibility to take care of us. In God I Trust, not Big Government.

The post proves the TeaParty is a rightwing christian attempt at governing. And notice where they really drop the ball, Fran wants God, not the BIG government, to take care of us in old age. We've heard TP members say get rid of food stamps, unemployment, SS, etc. But they never say what will take up the slack caused by ending these programs and now we know why.

Jesus will save us (if, of course, we believe and pray hard enough) otherwise we'll all end up in that hot, dry place (and I don't mean Florida)!
i know because I've been told it since birth so it must be true.

Hey, stay of Florida; we love our cockroaches they all go to heaven; I just wrote a tiny little bible for them. Anyway just pray your ass off and call me if it helps; sorry no one up there hears you then likely they did not invent cell phones up there unless you want to talk to a rock on Mars.
Sorry to say, we as people are fully responsible for whatever happens with our governments and other things on earth except the activities of nature ; no one from outerspace ever interfered with that. So keep praying till you are green in the face; I guarantee that history is the guide and like the french say; "L'histoire se repete"
