Megapastor Rob Bell is one of the biggest evangelical pastors going these days. And, he sees a new vision for the Christian faith; one of more acceptance. He was quoted saying this about gay marriage equality:
"
I am for marriage. I am for fidelity. I am for love, whether it’s a man and woman, a woman and a woman, a man and a man. I think the ship has sailed and I think the church needs — I think this is the world we are living in and we need to affirm people wherever they are
."
I was pleased reading this. I have NEVER liked a megapastor. Let alone respected one. Maybe, just maybe, this guy isn't too bad. He doesn't cling to any single denomination either. He believes that we should question more, and know for certain less. I like that as well. Although I do not subscribe to his brand of faith, I can respect what I've seen of his work thus far. Anyone have an opinion of this guy, good or bad?
He has been dubbed 'the next Billy Graham'.
