For this episode, we hear the story of Annie. Born in a displaced persons camp in Germany, she tells the story of her mom as a Nazi Slave, a father who fought with the Hungarian Army, and how the conditions in the U.S. catalyzed her role in the Civil Rights Movement, where she saw Dr. King speak of his dream and marched with him. To honor the diversity of peoples all over the world, she built a Peace Garden in Long Beach
