    I saw a good / interesting show on a PBS show called Our Ohio. It gave much information on how Natural Gas money is coming to the poverty stricken in eastern Ohio. Obviously, this is happening in Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, and many other states. I thought this information was very interesting.

    It is definitely a temporary boon to this region but the long term effects will most likely be devastating. I've attached another documentary that shows the pollution concerns that come with fracking. Our countries health is far more important than the money big oil is offering.

    Wow, This is a big problem because everyone is proceeding too quickly. The EPA should set some standards and regulations to control this. It's not going away.... 400,000 wells expected in the next 10 years.... This link had much good information.

    The devastation in Colorado last week is partially due to the industry of "fracking" for tar sands oil & breaking up of shale rock underground to get the oil out of it, infuse it with toxic solvents, & force it thru pipelines to other regions. Many pipelines have burst, polluting the water & causing massive kill off of wildlife and habitat. Excessive Greed encourages the OIL industry, --- but the result is the Death of Wildlife, & the ruin of Fresh Water, and the loss of pure lovely innocence of Nature. Once it is destroyed, there is NO GOING BACK, the beauty of Nature is Gone Forever.
    The Oil industry might give you a few bucks, but its WAY TOO BIG A PRICE for us to PAY, to lose our natural environment.

    Has anyone heard that a fracking toxic waste and storage facility is being planned in Cincinnati on the Ohio River? The Army corps of engineers will be consulted. Why hasn't our Highness the Governor made this issue public or addressed it or is he going to give someone a secret bonus after the midterm election? You can bet it's being located on the river to make it easier to dump a little in when they get close to capacity.

    Your statement: The Army corps of engineers will be consulted.... Wow; then you are asking for disasters; here in FL they control our water management; sorry these "killers" have no clue whatsoever related to that. Here our beaches are totally poluted; our governor gets plenty of backpocket money from the poluters and tells the Army corps what to do; yes Sir; and the Army corps of engineers just keep their eyes shut and no one has the guts to rip of their medals and get them re-educated in CIVIL engineering like normal countries do, who do not report to corrupt governors in Army style .
