On December 7, 2010 U.S. Senator Diane Feinstein published an editorial commentary on Julian Assange entitled, "Prosecute Assange Under the Espionage Act." Punishments under the Espionage Act can include the death penalty which explains why Assange is so desperate to avoid the fascist legal systems in America. U.S. Senator Feinstein is typical of the fascist members of the U.S. Congress who believe truth tellers should get the Socrates hemlock treatment instead of being congratulated and rewarded for revealing serious criminal activities in the U.S. Government. U.S. Senator Feinstein has been on the Senate Intelligence Committee for years and believes that war criminals and human rights abusers should not be prosecuted just like it was in Nazi Germany.

Assange has to be protected. Some source like his is really needed, when the average person knows only what is fed to hem on the various news broadcast.
He had a great idea, and he did it well. All the trumped up charges, which appeared out of the blue, are just made to discredit him. He is brave to do what he has done, and his safety and personal freedom should be assured. The United Nations should step in regarding this case.

We read that the government is holding Pvt. Manning in some pretty severe circumstances....getting ready to put him on trial....some want it to be a death penalty case. ..... tonight I was reminded of the Adolph Eishmann fiasco that took place 30 or 40 so years ago in Israel....Eichman was a top Nazi in the chain of command that led directly to the extermination of millions of Jews, gypsys, and dissidents. He was a monster in any sane person's book. But the manner in which the Israeli government went after him was disgraceful to some people who watched the event unfold....especially people who have respect for the concept of law. When Germany collapsed in '45 many Nazis escaped to fascist countries , especially in South America. Eichmann wound up there .... I believe it was in Paraguay and went to work in a Mercedes Benz factory. Israeli agents eventually tracked him there. If they had simply executed him I can't imagine anyone or any civilized nation making much of a fuss about it. But no. Against international law they kidnapped him from a soverign nation without benefit of extradition , put him on a plane to Israel to stand trial under laws that were not passed until after the crimes he was accused of were committed. Imagine if the Palestinians pulled a stunt like that in Tel Aviv ? Israel made a mockery of the concept of law and, as was exppected, hung Eichmann. They could have brought international law to bear and turned him over to Germany which was prosecuting other Nazi's in thoese years. Instead they staged a total fiasco......I hear echoes of that trial in the Pvt. Manning case . Here we have the government using the legal system to prosecute a man who revealed the deceptions that the government was using to befuddle the American publlic. AND he is going to be proecuted by the very agency and people who should be on trial themselves....war criminals and profiteers. But the law is mocked. God is not. Emerson wrote about the law of compensation.....the wheels of justice grind slowly, but they exceedingly fine.........The wheel is already grinding out justice for what we did in Vietnam and the wheel is beginning to turn faster We...all of us....friend, foe, liberal, conservative are in line to to be caught up in the whirlwind that is being prepared....Wow ! I'm sounding like an Old Testament prophet. But, short of a revolution, which is nowhere on the horizon, what is going to turn this fate around ?...... For us it may be a great disaster. For the rest of the world it may very well be a blessing. Peace.

Hemlock for sure. She is married into the military industrial complex & her stance on Manning, the NSA & Snowden make me ill. no more votes for Feinstein from me.
Very scary what is happening to Manning at this moment in miltary court. Seems like brealy anyone knows about his case thanks to media & congressional silence. I wanns if there's more we can do than just write our congress folks about it.
