He could maybe, if he wanted to, but he has no plans to. His own running words proved this, When President Obama said, “There are some jobs we will never get back,” referring to the jobs we lost thanks to Clintons and NAFTA.

Yes Clinton pushed NAFTA on to America, when he left office, we had no deficit, however, his newly formed NAFTA was the beginning to the end of American manufacturing jobs. Once made American products are now made in China by children in factories that have no emission standards, can you see why I have a problem with Clinton being in our White House and why I would have an even greater problem if he ever got back there, as the first man, first lady? Out of all our presidents, Clinton has killed more American families than any president before or after him. The Clintons should be locked up for treason, before they run to China, along side all our jobs they sent there.

    United,
You sure have some strong feelings against the Clintons. I disagree. Sure NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) did cause some jobs to go to Mexico for the lower wages. It isn't the reason jobs went to China (that was greed) as the only participants in Nafta are the USA, Canada, and Mexico. I don't understand your comment that "Out of all our presidents, Clinton has killed more American families than any president before or after him". Why don't you explain what you meant there. I would have voted for George Bush as the president who killed more American families.

If people are going to judge a president in office for 8 years on the Lewinski issue, how sad is that. Was it a bad decision ? Of course it was. Is it a minor issue ? In my mind it is. There was much more done in those 8 years aside from the 20 - 30 minutes (probably less) that we all regret.

The people who hate Clinton will never let go of the Lewinski "incident". Clinton will never live it down, nor should he, because he made a poor decision. It doesn't mean he was a terrible president it just means that he made bad decisions like all people do. Clinton got caught once but was probably guilty many times. His lying about it was worse.

Sure I will be happy to explain. Nafta opened the door to China, not all the jobs we lost because of Nafta went to Mexico, although our once American made cars are now made in Mexico. American made means nothing now a days does it, when you realize American made does not mean American made thanks to Clintons. The much larger picture however, China has taken millions of our manufacturing jobs away from America for good, according to President Obama anyway. China is the world power now, thanks to the Clintons, building once American made with electric power that comes from coal with no pollution standards, affecting the worlds air and water quality. I personally have friends that worked for many years at the same place who lost their job when their job was sent to China thanks to the Clintons. To support Clintons is the same as supporting the killer of American families! Sure the Republicans started Nafta, but Clinton pushed it through to the disaster and unemployment we have now. Nafta did not help the majority one bit, it only helped the rich who could afford to build factories in China with the extra money they got from the Bush tax cuts. "Nafta will give the majority cheaper products" Clinton said. Look in the stores, the prices are sailing, he lied to us, to give the rich what they wanted, more money. As far as getting head in the White House, this only proves what kind of morals the Clintons have, his wife didn't have a problem with it, she is still with the cheat.

Dear Majority, It would be interesting to hear how you arrived at your understanding of the economic system we are saddled with. You are not rummaging around on the upper floors of our economic problems. You are working down in the cellar where all the leaks are and the wiring is coming apart. In these forums we hear a lot from folks who are critical of the financial and social swamp that American style capitalism has created, but still support it as a viable system.....folks clamoring for peace who are still waving the flag for imperialism...... While Clinton surely greased the skids.....the dismantling of the nation's industrial ability was already underweigh. I remember seeing him on tv the day he signed Nafta. He said, this is going to be great for the economy. I thought ....great for who? Certainly not great for the people who worked at places like Briggs and Stratton in Wisconsin who saw the entire production of small engines shipped to Mexico.....He also accomplished something the Republicans had been fighting against for decades.....He pushed women and children off the welfare roles. I was once an organizer for Welfare rights. I know that for many of these people the miserable checks they recieved were their only safety nets. He said the mothers could be "trained" to hold down a job. This resulted in women having to abandon their kids for long hours each day to be bussed to centers where they learned to work at life sucking jobs that pay minimum wages. A majority were no better off then when they were on welfare, but now the children were often left on their own......... ........The lack of mnufacturing jobs in the US is exactly the reason why neither Obama not anyone else is going to bring this country back to where it was in the past. A nation's economic prosperity is built on the tangible goods it produces. We cannot all be selling hambugers to one another or greeting the unthinking mobs that crowd into WalMart.... But while the programs the agents of capitalism inaugurate need to be opposed I don't think it is productive to dump on dark agents like the Clintons personally. It can turn people away from the ideas we are trying to present.. And , in the end, it is like trying to combat the mythical dragon who, when you cut off its head, grows two more. It's not the heads that need replacing. It's the system...... A dark picture I know. Still I count my blessings ( and sometimes feel a little guilty ) that no bombs are falling on me today of on those closest to me.....in a few hours I'll enjoy a cheesebuger and tonight I'll get to watch my reruns of Gunsmoke...... Blessings. Onward.
