The Green Party candidate of this election year, Jill Stein, was arrested in east Texas while attempting to bring food and Halloween candy to protesters camping out in trees to oppose the Keystone XL pipeline. She was taken to the Wood County jail and charged with criminal trespassing, a class B misdemeanor.

I know that technically they had a right to arrest her, but come on now. She was arrested because of who she is, what she stands for, and how important she is to the "green" movement and initiative. I think this is ridiculous and it doesn't sound like she was doing anything wrong at all. What do you think? Did she deserve to be arrested?
