This new and upcoming culture of "fact-checking", highlighted by the 2nd presidential debate, (championed by websites like factcheck.com and politifact.com and CNN's post debate discussion) is exciting to me. This is where the internet, 24 hour news networks and social media can actually help in political discourse, by actually holding the candidates to facts by making them look stupid for lying or just simply getting information wrong.
