On a Fox News video, http://xfinity.comcast.net/video/One-governors-advice-to-Mitt-Romney/2285901623... , where Gretta was interviewing Haley Barbour (our ex-Miss. Gov.) about what they referred to as the Obama administration's attempt to make American taxpayers pay for the defense of any company employee involved in what they called "Obama's illegal methodology" of allowing companies that are going to declare bankruptcy, to avoid the legally-required notification of employees in order to avoid any bad publicity before the election.  Gretta said that in previous cases these defense costs had reached a whopping $99 million for just three defendants. My question is this:  What attorney has the outright gall to charge this kind of fees? Is there no legal limit on fees?  What would stop an attorney from charging in the trillions?  It seems to me that it makes no difference if the client cannot pay.
