It is pointless for me to write an essay to explain why we should do it just boycott the movie and then get back to me! We started this boycott today. My name is Sheldon "Chip"Rice I am a former medically discharged Air Force SP & 919th SOG. I Served 10 years of good and faithful service to God & my country.

I was deeply insulted by the antics of Mr. Eastwood whom I held in high esteem. Until I saw him insult my President. I was lucky to have seen Mrs. Obama at Fort Jackson last year in 2011. It was great. I did not get a chance to go to the DNC. But I plan to vote for President Obama again and I hope all military do. He has made us safer then with all respect to former President Clinton (whom I like very much). He did better than former CIA director Bush Sr. and was light years ahead of BABY BUSH (Bush Jr.) in keeping us safe. I welcome any and all comments. Look for more boycott calling on my social media outlets : twitter (bigudubsarge200), You Tube (Mrchips), on Yahoo Voices Mrchips,  on YAHOO ANSWERS

    Cheers
    Mr. Chip's

& 4 more years for President Obama & Vice President Biden

I'm disappointed in him too. I thought he would be a more openminded, rational person.  Too many of my favorite actors and actresses, as well as singers, share the same political views. That is their right, of course, but I have trouble seeing them in the same light, and generally won't watch, listen, or support their work. That's just my thing.

Most are of an older generation that tends to be conservative, or from areas of the country that have a tendency toward that political bent, so it's not surprising. Even if they are conservative in their beliefs, I would have hoped they adhered to the older conservative/Republican point of view that I recall when I was younger (60 y/o now). They seemed willing to work with and compromise with those with opposing viewpoints, rather than obstruct all the time. Our political system has really gone downhill, since many politicians, in all fairness from both sides of the aisle, are influenced more by campaign donations from the wealthy and corporate interests, than the best interests of all.

Chip, thank you for your military service. Though I don't believe in the wars we've been in as of late, I am still supportive of those who serve our country and its citizens.

I almost never tweet, @den_mey, but I will go there when I'm done and add you to the many other liberals/Democrats that I already follow.

    Thanks again,
    Den

With all due respect to your military service to our country (And I for one appreciate all that the military does for securing our freedom) Mr. Eastwood is 82 years old and I seriously doubt he cares what he says these days. Boycotting his film is the equivalent of some 12 year old taking his ball and going home because he doesn't like the way the game is being played. There are lots of actors and actresses whose political views I disagree with, yet they produce brilliant work in film and television. Entertainment and politics are two separate things.

Hear, hear.  Boycotting Clint, for doing a great sketch isn't well-thought.  I guess some people just haven't read The Invisible Man, by Ralph Ellison, which I had to do, back in H.S.

I guess some people haven't heard of Keith ELLISON or RALPH Nader.  I'd vote for Keith, but Ralph is endorsing Rocky Anderson, who is running on the Justice Party ticket, with Luis Rodriguez, so that's who I will vote for.  Clint said a lawyer shouldn't be President, but the Obamney Twins both graduated, from HLS, although Willard was a Vampire Authority mastermind, at Bain, in the early 1990s, when President Obamney was a young, NYC crackhead, trying to get into Harvard.

In addition to copying pump-prime funding, from Willard and GW Bush, Mr.Obamney copied the famous private insurer requirement, on inflated medical prices, known as Obamneycare.

Hey, he copies pubs and their trash!  What can be done, when Obamney let GW Bush walk, for ducking investigation, into starting the 911 attacks and suppressing preventative investigations, which could have stopped the 911 attacks, and lying, with his whole crew, to get an Iraq war, to then privatize Iraq's oil and try to start a war, with Iran?

I guess some of you haven't talked, to Republicans, or had to listen to a lot of them, or read their junk posts.  Pubs trot out the straw man argument, more than most logical fallacies, like loaded language, ad hominem, post hoc ergo propter hoc, etc.  So you saw some invisible Obamney-sketching, evocative, of straw dogs, such as the kind of pooches, defiled by pubs, which Republicrats then EAT, in Indonesia or not.

Where's the beef, about LA Mayor Antonio Villareigoso, who put a loaded question, with two, badly configured issues, in the same platform referendum, and he heard "NO," but he then pretended the delegates were invisible, while he is supposed to be DEAF?

Maybe people who want to boycott movies, over good sketching should watch more TV and try to figure out why Maher and Jason Alexander couldn't figure Clint out, either, even though Jason Alexander was George Costanza, for YEARS, on Seinfeld, which character is evocative, of the guilty war criminal, GW Bush.  Maybe it took Jerry and producer Larry to get performances worth watching, out of Mr.Alexander, while I don't know what Bill Maher's sorry excuse is, for not getting Clint.  Don't pay to see THAT idiot, in concert.
