This egotistical and maniacal idiot tried to tell the 60 Minutes crew that he is not a politician, republican, or otherwise involved in the American political arena, but his ONLY interest is in getting the size and involvement of government in U.S. politics reduced essentially to zero.  He wants to do this by the elimination of all tax receipts for the Federal Government, and eventually bankrupting it out of existence.  Of course his first effort is the total elimination of any and all new taxes, followed by who knows what.  The interview took place in his offices, among other places, and showed placards on the walls that listed the names and photographs of all the Republicans who have signed his pledge of no new taxes, as well as placards that showed those that had signed is pledge and not followed through, by actually voting for a bill that did raise revenues.  He said it was also his duty to go after these people that double-crossed him, and to make sure that they were never re-elected.

He was then asked if he used millions, yes millions of dollars to accomplish this retribution, and he did not deny it.  He was then asked if he would share with 60 minutes exactly who his larger donors were.  At first he said yes, but then changed his mind by saying that he remembers that every time a name has leaked out, there has been some effort to attack or chastise these people by the radicals out there that are against his plan.

I say it is time for this kook to go, how can we let America be led off the cliff by this poor excuse for an American.  I guess he's American, although no one has asked him for a birth certificate.

    Michaels  - As information

In the 112th Congress, 238 representatives and 41 senators -- all but three of them Republicans -- have taken the pledge.

The rigidity of those pledges is something I don’t like," Bush said. "The circumstances change and you can’t be wedded to some formula by Grover Norquist. It’s -- who the hell is Grover Norquist, anyway?"

Grover Norquist-backed anti-tax oath that politicians sign to promise they will never vote for a tax increase.

Of course he is American, who else in the world would be this, well, crazy and get away with it?  He is trying to live out a childhood fantasy, having a political party that does not raise taxes. In his now adult allusion, he wants to get rid of the feds all together?  Sure glad I didn’t see 60 Minutes, watching these political cracks is something I don’t stomach well.

You and I.....I get streesed, and my tummy suffers as well.  I just sometimes wonder, it is one thing to win a race.....but I always see it whereas THE END JUSTIFY THE MEANS.   To the Republicans the means to justify the end is LIES AND DECEPTIONS, violate all of the Ten Commandments, it'll get them there.  I would surmise the ignorant....IGNORANCE IS BLISS.

Further, Norquist disputed a claim by Coburn's office that 35 of 41 Senate Republicans have sided with Coburn against Norquist on multiple votes

I turn the station when a political add comes on.  Why, if I wanted to be lied to, I would of became a probation agent, at least I would be paid to listen to lies.  But to listen to lies on my time, it is not happening, and the stations that play the political lie commercials, will not have me as a viewer.
