We all battle between good and evil every day.  In fact, almost anything in life can be put on one side of the fence or the other.  When it comes to politics however, that could be debated.  Still, if we had to put our two parties into this category, it is clear, Democrats are on the side of good and the Republicans are on the side of evil.  This is clear; if we look at something every member of the majority uses every day, energy.

The Democrats started up solar in the late seventies, Reagan crushed it in the early eighties.  Bush loves oil and President Obama is pushing for alternative energy for our air polluting cars, solar powered electric cars.  Democrats love sun and the Republicans hate sun, because solar puts oil out of business.  Ok, look where the sun and the oil come from.  Oil comes from below, so does Satin and his evil.  The sun comes from above, so does God and Good.

As far as the winner, evil has been kicking ass since Jimmy Carter, it’s for sure time for President Obama to turn that around.  He’s holding his own as of present, against oil owned Republicans.  If we get another Republican President, the fight is over.

I have to say I agree with you totally on that score.  Just casually looking at it, certain forms of "energy" come from the regions of Hell (below) and are fueled by FIRE and HEAT, which is pretty much the description of "Hell."  Then you examine how this energy is obtained, and miners have to work underground in darkness, with very poor working conditions, which can involve a mine cave-in possibility at any time. Coal miners get "black lung disease" from breathing coal dust all day. The product of coal is filthy, grimey & pollutes the air if burned.

Other forms of "energy" like OIL, also comes from below the ground. Many do not know this, but when OIL comes out of the ground, it is very hot. In Alaska, they have to put the pipes on stilts to hold them up above the ground, and even then, the heat from those pipes are melting the permafrost up there, adding to "global warming."  It is also a very filthy grimey product, and pollutes the air when burned in factories or in cars. Danger to workers?  Just remember BP oil rig explosion in the Gulf recently. And the resulting death of millions of sea creatures, including edible ones. Now are born mutants, eyeless and disfigured, tumors all over their bodies, painfully trying to survive, but doomed, with no escape. The humans have not escaped the dangers, either  Some tourists innocently swimming in the Gulf this year were sickened & died from oil chemicals in the waters down there.

Then just look at the typical OIL millionaire "businessmen" who control the whole industry. They are greedy, and corrupt to the core. It is hard to find any one of them who demonstrates good morals, high ethics, or even human decency.  With more money than many countries even have, the Greed never ends. They would rather let our school children get along with no education or even a home, & possibly let them even starve, rather than for the GOP to want to pay "their fair share of taxes."  Even though the GOP likes to hide behind the facade of Christianity, there is "no Good" to be found among them. Jesus Christ HATED greedy people. But THERE WILL BE A JUDGMENT DAY, and Jesus will be the Judge. As it is written in the Bible ---- (New Testament) ---- Matthew 25: 31-45.   It says that those who are greedy & selfish, who do not share with the poor, the sick, the elderly, and weak on this earth, will be sent to eternal Hell-fire. (The GOP better buy some asbestos underwear, real quick).  But it also says those who are helpful & generous to give to the poor, the sick, the elderly and the weak or underprivileged on this earth, will get their Reward in Heaven.  (Yes, it is really that specific right there in the Bible). Amazing how you seldom hear this important passage in your church.

Also, common sense will tell you, that God favors those who IN GOVERNMENT seek to assist others in need, and to take care of the elderly (Social Security) and to help the sick and disabled (Medicare) -- or YES --- (also Obamacare) -- and to take care of the poor, & unemployed  (Welfare).  These are "doing God's work, here on earth."
The FIRST LAW ----"Love ye one another"  -- & -- "Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you."

That obviously means we should not be greedy selfish hateful, arrogant & insensitive, -- because THIS IS EXACTLY HOW JESUS will JUDGE YOU.  "What so ever ye have done unto one of these (the least of these) my brothers, (my fellowman) -- ye have done so unto ME."   [ And Jesus really means business on this point.]

The Bible commands us to "tithe" every Sunday at church (or whatever day of Sabbath you practice in your house of worship). That means to give to the church at least 10% of your
income. TEN PERCENT.  Those with a salary paid 10% of their earnings. And farmers gave 10% of their crops to the poor. Even BEFORE Christ's time, they had to regularly give to take care of the widows, orphans, sick, or elderly, etc.  That is simply how good ethical people are supposed to behave.  HOWEVER if you listen to any churches that are attended by the wealthy GOP in their parrish, the sick or poor don't deserve any help, and the selfish wealthy people are to hoard & pile up all the wealth for themselves. IT IS A PURE LIE, and that is one identifying characteristic to determine which are the  TRUE CHURCHES of the LORD, ---- or NOT.  The Bible says that in the end times, there will be many False churches, and many false prophets, and they are so cunning, that they may deceive many of the faithful, and lead them astray. So BEWARE if you are hearing any gospel that tells you it is OK to be selfish and greedy, and let the rest of the people starve, be homeless, and be left uncared for on the streets. That is the ideology of the anti-Christ.

It will not take me to tell you which Political Party tries to take care of the sick, elderly, the poor, the homeless, the widows and orphans. The Party that gave us the very agencies that helped the underprivileged in our Society --- Democrats started the idea of Medicare -- & the GOP fought against it for over 20 years. It is the Democrat Party that worked so hard for civil rights, and equal opportunities, to strengthen our society, and to fulfill the dream of our Founders: "with Liberty and Justice for All."   I am PROUD to be a Democrat and to have the extreme privilege to -- VOTE FOR  Barack Obama --- AGAIN in 2012.  ----  God Bless You All -- and God Bless America.

    eternal flame

The hell that comes from system loved oil and coal, human and animal life for money, not to mention are future world.  If solar would not of been crushed by Reagan, we wouldn’t be watching ice caps melt, a melting that is happening ten times faster than most scientist predicted, of course, hiding the true effects of burning hell energies tell the very last possible moment.  Ninety percent of air pollution comes from mobile transportation, how much of this would we have now if Bush would not have killed the electric car in 1991?  It is clear in all the other ways you mentioned above, that yes for a fact the Republican Party is the side of evil and not good, unless of course you are one of the China job creators.

I always had a problem with tithes, knowing the Catholic Church is worth trillions, thanks to people paying tithes and from the Jewish artifacts they hold in their temples.  I think the Catholics need to spend this money on the needy, come on; they could buy the world rice for the next ten years with the tithe money they hoard.  I guess I wouldn’t have a problem paying tithes’ if the money was used for the needy and not for the wealth of the church.  I think it is very possible; that the greatest church on earth maybe a false religion, like the ones you spoke of.  For sure the 700 club is, after hearing what you say Jesus said, Pat says you can demand Jesus to answer your prayers for personal wealth, as long as you paid your tithes that is, sad but true.

Thanks for the words above, you are a great writer and I appreciate all you talked about.

Wind power  accounts for about 75,000 jobs which is about the same as coal.  Romney will not re-new it at the end of the year.  Of course you can bet "big oil" buddies will be subsidized as usual.  Same old tea party drivel.  A level playing field to them is like the teeter totter on the play ground.  Big oil at the top.  No carbon dioxide emissions from wind-but a lot of well paying jobs putting them up and keeping them running.

The former Massachusetts governor would allow a tax credit for wind energy production companies to expire at the end of the year, Iowa campaign spokesman Shawn McCoy told the Des Moines Register:

"He will allow the wind credit to expire, end the stimulus boondoggles, and create a level playing field on which all sources of energy can compete on their merits. Wind energy will thrive wherever it is economically competitive, and wherever private sector competitors with far more experience than the president believe the investment will produce results."

    For wind power by state:

No wonder our oil baron bunch hates it.  Pretty cheap compared to another war about oil.  It produces electricity to run our cars.

Dragging in "all kind of god's" and human written "bibles, korans etc. are not the subject here. The question is on how do we use our "natural resources" on this tiny globe to the best of our knowledge. Indeed wind power is rapidly expanding; which also provides plenty of jobs. Also battery development for instance on electrical powered vehicles is improving. However we have a long way to go on solar and also small battery development. However regardless of all these positive things, this world will still be moving in the wrong direction, because of wars, polution, other nonfossil resources misuse and polution. clean water availability worldwide, new diseases, virusses etc. Solar and wind are great, but do not add much on the total global warming issue. Neither do I believe the army will use solar powered tanks shortly!!

For a differnet spin on the topic I'd like to offer the following........ Both political parties represent an economic system that allows a minority to succeed by exploiting the labor of the majority. We sweat. They luxuriate. The Democratic Party is certainly head and shoulders above the Rpublican which has always championed the vampires at the expense of the victims.....but the professional Democrats are also pawns in the game.
.......I put it this way....Rebublicans would skin us from head to toe if they could get away with it.....Democrats say NO.....only half way....What we need is a new politics that, if we can't get rid of capitalism, at least works to alleviate the disastrous effec t it is having on the nation and the world.

President Obama used 1 Corinthians 4:6 recently to speak to redistribution of wealth when the verse actually falls perfectly between verses 1 and 8 and they do altogether speak to sexual purity.

Obama has failed at every turn when it comes to his singular verse christIANITY which is not bliblical.

Furthermore, in 2008, Obama ran on singular verses about Hope which do point directly -- even solely to Jesus Christ. Obama christIANS are sick.

"We sweat. They luxuriate." Wow. LOL. I haven't slept, generally speaking, over six hours a night for almost twelve years because I believe that if I want more, I have to be willing to reach for more. Rich people have never had to work hard for anything that they've ever achieved, right? You all are not only the most interesting beast of the field -- collectively speaking but also the most slow group on the planet in terms of IQ.

I see someone dragged in the "book" quotes; which have nothing to do with solar or wind power; I guess no one "up there" builts these.

    Therefore I repeat the following:

Dutch, How's this for a hell. You step into an elevator. The door closes and the car goes up and down for all eternity. It never stops and you can't get out. Your fellow passengers are an assortment of jolly companions like Karl Rove, Paul Ryan, the Koch Brothers, Henry Kissinger, Idi Amin,
    J. Edgar, Donald Rumsfeld and a few others who can be jammed in. Of course, you won't be abletosit down and the air won't be pleasant, but Hey !....you can't have everything.

"Leftofcenter" Sure I love your story; you've got a lot of fantasy! But I can not imagine that you think I want every thing rosy!!
Anyway the reason I repeated this is simple; Windmills or Solar panels are "earthly made items"; why drag in Philipines 13 verse 28 etc. pure nonsense; sorry this makes me p.......!!!
