    Mark levvin Show

"Rising C.A.F.E.  standards mandating increased auto mpg resulting in smaller and lighter cars-are a major cause of increased deaths on our highways",says Levin.

ABSOLUTELY WRONG AND PROBABLY A LIE !

Increased deaths on our highways are caused by IDIOTS who drive heavy, gas guzzling "dinosaurs" who can't seem to stay on their side of the road.

Those who drive smaller, fuel efficient cars are generally much more careful drivers. It's the IDIOTS in their big cars and pickup trucks with a half opened six-pack on the floor who are the ones who CAUSE accidents! It's also the judges who allow them back on the highway!

Larger , heavier cars have more momentum are always harder to keep from crossing the centerline and usually are the cars that fly through stop signs- killing those in smaller cars!

Among those idiots is Mark Levin. I wonder if the car he drives is as uncontrollable as his thought process/!

Never watched the show, after reading this I won't be, this is a typical Republican meme statement, one with no merit or foundation.  Finally America gets better mileage standards, thanks to non-oil loving President Obama, of course a Republican meme would have some bull crap to brain wash the evolved non eyed Republican Party some more with.

The fact is, our cars do and have to get better mileage when sold to countries with higher mileage standards than ours.  Our same gas wasting American cars get the mileage these countries demand, yet when sold here, get far worse mileage.  The same when a foreign car is sent to America to be sold, they are rigged to get worse mileage, to keep oil wasting America happy.  President Obama needs to do something about this injustice as well.  American car companies totally control how much oil sales will be and what the governments’ fuel tax will be, with the mileage of their new cars.  American car companies, government mileage policies, and the oil industry, have been screwing the American majority out of great mileage since Jimmy Carter, for huge oil sales and huge fuel tax revenue.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck well it's probably a duck. Right?
Well Michael I don't know how you walk or what you look like but you sure do sound like a knuckle dragging bigot and it's clear to us reasonable folks that you don't know what H--- you are talking about. Put the hate away for a day, even if the facts don't matter to you.

I do not know where you are coming from; statistics do not lie. In Europe there are in general smaller cars with a lot more fuel efficient engines; however the accident rate is a lot less than here. Indeed the big Lincolns and Caddilac's of the 80's still float around here and are indeed road blockers.
Then we have the oversized pickup trucks (of course with a gun rack) on huge oversized wheels and tires elevated to the "moon"; rock throwing monsters with at least 10 six packs on the backseat. Weird country. It is what your individual taste is either a "Smart" or one of these.
My feeling is that this far apart mixture creates a disturbed traffic view. If I sit in my tiny Porsche behind one of those monsters, I cannot see anything anymore only these huge wheels; rocks, sand and the beer cans flying out of the window. I never had that problem anywhere in Europe.
