"default on the debt."
Yes, I think it's possible.
I certainly think that the current course is unsustainable.
We cannot keep borrowing and spending this way.

Unpayable debt?
The Treasury has redeemed over 400 trillion in Tsy securites over the last 10 years, and 70 trillion over the last 7 months. And interest paid has fallen.
Does that sound like the Treasury is operating under market constraints to you?

I think all stayes should participate with a caveat of course. Mr Klein state that by the year 2022 33 million citizens will be insured under the care act.A stste should accept tjis care act only if they can opt out of providng care to all those people in this country with out proper documentation. a state should not have to provide care to those who are living the shadows of our uncaring employment system. If aperson has been in our state and is employed for the gainful purpose of income to provide for his family he must participate with all revenue programs our federal government needs . So this will rid our states of the large number of unducmented individuals who drain our state coffers paying for their care. Yes the Care Act is a wonderful way to provide care for all us poor U.S. Citizens.
