Should the President be given a pass to leak "confidential stuff"

    CNN's Candy Crowley said: 'Usually You Kind of Give the President a Pass on Leaking Confidential Stuff'

    But should a president be able leak confidential information. Does he have that power. All presidents are the commander-in-chief, and skilled politicians. I would imagine any leak would be calculated. I'm not really asking if he should or shouldn't but more along of the lines does it fall under his power. Is it his information to leak?

    The president, as commander-in-chief, has the legal right to determine what is classified and can declassify anything.
