I can't believe some Republicans are still holding on to this. Clearly proven false four years ago. Coffman says, "I don't know whether Barack Obama was born in the United States of America. I don't know that. But I do know this, that in his heart, he's not an American. He's just not an American."
Now the whole un-American comment is clearly his opinion, everyone defines the idea of America a little differently on some of those people feel their idea should be shoved down people's throats and criticize others when their idea of America includes improving the standard of living and providing an environment without discrimination and with equal opportunity, but I digress.
I just thought Trump was the only major crazy person still going on about this. Coffman later apologized and said his misspoke. I don't quite understand how saying "I don't know whether Barack Obama was born in the United States of America," was an accident, but I would like to list a few things I'm not quite sure on.
I don't know whether Mike Coffman clubs baby seals.
I don't know whether Mike Coffman throws kittens and puppies into the ocean
I don't know whether Mike Coffman was born in the United States of America (I haven't seen a BC)
While it is true that I don't know these things, I can be reasonably certain what the truth is and there really is no reason for them to come up.
