    Maybe by YOUR standards.

Increased the size of gubmint.  Obamacare.  More people living off gubmint handouts.  Obamacare.  Increased the nations debt by 5 trillion after he said he'd cut the deficit.  Obamacare.  Cut back on oil production on federal lands/waters.  Obamacare.

In what way is any of that liberal? Frankly, if you take out Obamacare (which was written by Republicans), it sounds like you are describing W. Or Bush, Sr. Or Reagan.

Beyond that, what about his continuation of the wars? Or his stands on gay marriage, the drug war, taxes, civil liberties, and the environment? He is actually to the right of his competition on those issues.

    To mention just a few...

Remember the starry-eyed days right after the election when there was "Hope and Change"?  Everything was going to be just wonderful.  Obama had the presidency, the House, and the Senate.  He had all the power and he was going to fix everything!

We quickly found out that he's just a "typical politician".

That's the point; he campaigned as a liberal, but he has governed as a conservative.

    Would Romney be worse?

THAT'S what we have to decide.

No, that's a false dichotomy: What we have to decide is if we are going to allow ourselves to be oppressed by a single-party state masquerading as a two-party system which denigrates all third parties with the "lesser of two evils" fallacy.

    "campaigned as a liberal..governed as a conservative."

Sounds like you're on the Romney bandwagon.

Who would've thought THAT would happen on a "Democratic Forum"?

The wars and the debt.  THOSE are his biggest failures.  Lots of others, of course, but saying he'd end the wars then ramping up the war in Afghanistan, and saying he'd cut the deficit then adding 5 trillion to the debt...  If he loses in November, I'll have to look no further than those two reasons.

BTW, what has EITHER accomplished?  The economy is still terrible, and the war in Afghanistan is really doing what, exactly?  NOTHING!  Other than costing lives, money, and making more enemies of America.

We're stuck with the system in place.  That's unfortunate, but it is reality.  Big money/special interests OWN our politicians.

Back to the unanswered question:  You REALLY think Romney would be worse?

Yea, that's why I'm promoting the Green party; what?

The debt really isn't on him; the GOP has blocked any progress on that front. Not that he couldn't have done more...

I don't think Romney believes anything he says any more than Obama intends to keep any of his promises.

    code,

We both recognize that the two party system has given us two lousy choices.

    Again.  As usual.

I really do wish the Greens or SOME other party would emerge as a realistic, electable alternative to the two losers that will be on the ballot in November.

Politics in America is completely broken.

    Will things EVER get better?
