If you've ever been unfortunate enough to have the TV running Fox News for any amount of time throughout the day, I'm sure you've seen this woman, Michelle Malkin.  She's a conservative pundit that appears regularly all over Fox News.  She has had her own website/blogosphere since 2004 at www.michellemalkin.com.  And, she recently launched her own online company called Twitchy.com, which is described as “a Twitter curation site”.

Malkin recently announced that her new website, Twitchy.com, would be advertising on Rush Limbaugh’s website.

I'm giving you her background to show where she comes from, where her politics lie and to demonstrate a clear point:  The only companies willing to touch Rush Limbaugh with a ten foot pole right now (as far as advertising goes anyways) are the Fox News pundits and other such far, far right defenders.  Anyone that wants to fantasize that Fox News is 'fair and balanced' and not of a CLEAR conservative slant are insane.

I have no real problem with someone advertising for Limbaugh.  Honestly, they have every right to do so.  I just think it's laughable that they continue to tout the slogan of 'fair and balanced' when ALL evidence screams to the contrary.  What's more, Malkin spoke out in defense of Limbaugh, making it sound as of the left is just picking on him for no good reason.

Recent quote of Michelle Malkin on the issue:

“As a small business owner, defender of capitalism, and advocate of free speech, I am putting my money where my conservative, free-market principles are. TWITCHY.COM is proud to join companies across the country that advertise with talk show giant Rush Limbaugh and his Excellence In Broadcasting network. Today, we will begin running ads on the RushLimbaugh.com website."

In regards to Limbaugh's Sandra Fluke controversy, she had this to say:

“Double standards and feigned outrage about Rush’s comments fit a decades-old pattern of liberal attempts to shut down his show and silence his voice. President Obama himself explicitly attacked Rush in 2009 at the very start of his presidency. But Limbaugh not only has survived countless protests, boycotts, media smears and political attempts to kick him off the airwaves. He has emerged each time with a higher profile, greater influence, and a strengthened hand.”

Maybe he has in the past. But, this time, I can pretty much guarantee that Rush has successfully pissed off enough mild fans to leave only the most intrepid.

Malkin certainly radiates physical beauty. It's a shame, however, that inwardly she radiates all the ugliness, selfishness, and mean-spiritedness of conservatism.

I never look at Fox let alone Limbaugh; so I have no clue who looks at all this garbage anyway; except the GOP braindead nutheads.

conservative, free-market principles. there is no such thing. adam smith didn't support the so-called free market. he knew that there would be distortion and collusion. and i would even venture to say that today's conservative isn't. they are a combination of libertarian utopians, political economy distorting liars, religionists and just plain whack-jobs.

we hear the constant bleating of the free market can solve anything when the free market doesn't exist and attempts to make a so-called free market lead to massive bubbles requiring bailouts and government intervention.

conservatives once wanted to conserve. they do not any more. they do not care about anything else beyond their own petty excesses and needs. ike knew them as did teddy roosevelt. for knew them as economic royalists. but back then while they may have attempted to buy the political process they generally were unsuccessful. today they are.
