I posted a link to some photos of pollution in China in another thread, but thought I would give it its own post, Made in China.  I know it is difficult to not find anything that is not made in China, but when you are given the choice, and the Chinese made product is cheaper, ask yourself why?  And in doing so keep these images in mind.

    Amazing Pictures, Pollution in China

There is a price to be paid for that cheap "Made in China" product...in China it's the pollution...in America it's the loss of jobs. I will buy American whenever I have a choice.

America really does live in its own little world, doesn't it? The old adage seems to work here; if it's too good to be true, it probably is. Are standard of living is outdated and destructive. We can't keep this up. We are living in an unbelievable global imbalance. Its pretty gross. But, it's going to take a lot of forward thinking, innovation and habitat dropping to create real change. I hope we are up for it when push comes to shove. Because it will, for sure. Those pictures, man... that's sad.
