A segment of an episode of "The Daily Show" was censored in Britain. This segment dealt with the Rupert Murdoch hacking scandal. Apparently, it's illegal to use parliamentary footage in a satirical or comedic context in Britain and thusly the footage never aired there. Funny thing is, he wasn't making fun of Britian or parliament at all. He actually said, "Britian is awesome!" for the way the handled their proceedings and wished our own processes were done in such an open and ignited format.

So, they banned that segment because a comedian, known for satire, made a comment about it. Strict laws, eh? Common sense should have dictated differently, agree?
