Can a repeal of DOMA pass the Conservative House?

    Feinstein has proposed a bill that would repeal DOMA. Obama has put his full support behind it. What are the chances that this bill will pass the the Conservatively held House?

    Not true! The federal government should be the ONLY one making any "marriage laws". Marriage is a legal definition NOT religious. Religions are more than free to make their own "marriage rules" within their religion and that's the way it should be but none of them should have a say in the legal country-wide definition of marriage that is the federal governments right and obligation, certainly not the states either. This isn't the 17th century (although a lot of people act like it is or should be)!
