Former President Donald J. Trump’s 2016 campaign will pay $450,000 as part of a settlement of a long court fight over its use of nondisclosure agreements, according to documents filed on Friday in a New York federal court.

The proposed settlement with Jessica Denson, a former campaign aide whom the campaign tried to silence as she claimed she was the target of abusive treatment and sexual discrimination by another campaign member, effectively invalidates the nondisclosure agreements that hundreds of officials from Mr. Trump’s first presidential run signed.

Ms. Denson is set to receive $25,000, the filings show, and the rest will cover legal fees and other costs. The judge in the case, who has not yet approved the settlement, pushed back on efforts by the campaign to keep the paperwork sealed. The details were reported earlier by Bloomberg News.

“We think that this N.D.A. was entirely unreasonable from the beginning,” said David K. Bowles, one of the lawyers for Ms. Denson, who initially represented herself in the case. “No attorney should have ever drafted it, and no campaign worker should have ever been compelled to sign it. We think the unwinding of the N.D.A. is a triumph for free speech, for democracy and for Jessica Denson, in particular, and we are very proud of our accomplishment tonight.”

Nothing "new". I guess the "idiot" is still running. And our government refuses to stop this "criminal" from doing so.

In the meantime he's interfering wherever he can. $ 450K is peanuts for Trump; he gets it back in a day from his mental/brainless supporters. The "fine" is likely paid from 2016 campaign money, "if" any of it can be "found".

So back to the unending "circus" . I still bet that he never will see "jail"; so things like this is like the Dutch say "an drop of water on an red hot plate". (it evaporates in a second)

No Trump is not an "looser"; actually "we" are as inhabitants of this "island". The "people" did choose this "tantrum spoiled baby". Sorry but this "kid" never experienced "life" as being "hard working poor" people in his life. His "daddy" gave him everything he wanted. People like that never should become Presidents in the first place.

It is time that the "people" here get some "real" education about doing the right thing. I bet 90% of the Trumpers have no clue about the "background" of this "idiot" at all because people here seemingly like "bullies" or are "afraid" of them or are way too lazy to do an "background check" on anyone who's running. They fall for the "indoctrination crap" of the media and just "follow" the crowd and the "leader" just like animals do and drown because of such.

Especially here, all of this is the case because of "island behavior" the isolation and un-educated "import" helps all of this, as well the "old" British law system which is seldom adapted to the times we live in, except with badly written "case laws" like an tiny bandage for an large wound. Sorry to be negative, but some other ex-British colonies used their brains and made it an "living" law system ( daily updated; needs less lawyers as well) instead and therefore don't have the same "crazy"mess system as here anymore which because of it, invites lunatics in governing So just for the "money" we keep these gullible lawyers in place; it shows. They get rich, not us. I bet Trump will never see jail because our "system" makes sure of it. Just appoint lots of "partisan" GOP lawyers and stacks of useless "paper" that will work great.
