Joe Biden website The website front page asks for donations, but as you scroll down you will see volunteer opportunities, news items, and half way down Joe's Vision, a list of the political issues of the day with Joe and Kamala's proposals. I've reviewed some of these and they are good. They are well thought out and go into depth on everything -- the Covid crisis education, heath care, LGBTQ community, racism, energy and environment, immigration and more. Each category has subcategories and links to go deeper. I was a big fan of HillaryClinton.com and I would say this website is on par with that. Any issue that you want to know where Joe and Kamala stand, you will most likely find it here.
DonaldTrump website This website likewise leads off with a donations page. At the top of the page is a list of menu picks, one of which is "promises kept". That is where you'll find a list of Trump accomplishments, many of which he takes credit for but had little involvement. The Economy and Jobs section is more extensive with a bullet point presentation going into the benefits of his tax cuts (mostly for the rich) but it has nothing on proposals for the next four years. The Energy and Environment section likewise has a bullet point presentation of achievements, but nothing going forward. The Healthcare section again has a lot of minor things passed by Congress and signed into law by the president to make it feel like he accomplished something. But it has zero mention of his efforts to repeal in it's entirety Obamacare and replace it.
Overall in digging in on selected topics of each website, I found Biden's website to be honest, informative and with lots of detail and references. Trump's website is a lot like his speeches...misinformation, exaggerations, and with next to nothing on what he wants to do in the next four years to make America great again, again. I browsed all over, but it's absent on proposals much like the Republican Platform for 2020. Nothing.
But as I learned in the 2016 election, Americans really don't give a shit about websites. They don't look at them. Voting is an emotional decision for them. Many are one issue voters or none at all...likeability, toughness, charisma, matter. Knowledge and experience is low on the criteria list.
