Trump is now in full meltdown mode again.

This morning, he took to Twitter with a freakout over former Vice President Joe Biden, who’s one of the last two major candidates in the Democratic presidential primary race. (The other is Bernie Sanders.) Trump claimed that he’d always protect Social Security and Medicare and Biden would supposedly slash it — but Trump is literally on a tape night from the before saying that he’d “be cutting entitlements.” The tape is right there, from hours ago, and Trump is still accusing Joe of what Trump himself is actually proposing.

I'm definitely a Biden supporter now, but (as Steve Benson pointed out on March 4) what we are left with is two old white guys duking it out for the big prize.

If Joe debates Trump, I hope he drinks lots of coffee so he doesn't appear sleepy, and I hope he doesn't gaffe, and I hope he has good comebacks for Burisma allegations, one would be to attack Trump for his illegal activities like cheating contractors and people he's hired and failed to compensate.

Bill Maher should run the Democratic party (hyperbole) and people should shut up and listen. The purity tests will deliver defeat again.

And people here still think this country is number one in the world? Sorry we are number one in "corruption" and are catching up with Venezuela in no time. How many times I wrote about taking the "money' (and Trump) out of the elections.

But yeah they don't want to learn anything in this country from their past mistakes and keep supporting the flaws in the system. The next President will therefore allowed to be even more corrupt than Trump and become an Czar like "dictator".

Stupidity reigns here, but I guess they don't know better on an "island". Even after the "virus" is over and billions lost, no one will blink and continue in their old ways. Why have "laws" for Presidents and their "limits"? Absolutely not needed; "walls" are so much more important; just elect old senile people or greedy an "real?" business man like Trump, that is so much more fun. Let's be "loyal" and butt crawl the one's we elect; brains are optional. Congratulations America; you are the laughing stock of the world.

The New York Times published a list of Biden's VP candidates this morning - and Kamala Harris is at the top of the list. She is one of the 5 candidates that the Biden team is considering "very seriously".

An absolutely NO NO. She's arrogant and knows nothing of the world. She also (as Trump) likes to have her face on the "news"/media and is "acting" all the time as well has as "hobby' how she can "score" only; it got us Kavanaugh. She would fit very well into the "Hollywood" clan. ( Fake, is an good word) The word "sincere" is missing. She's trying to "sell" herself to the dumb masses.

Another candidate popped up today, and officially , she would be a "dark horse" candidate.

Her name is Karen Bass, and she is a congresswoman representing in Los Angeles, and she is in her 5th term of office.

Here is why she might make sense:

    1) She is the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus.

    2) Her current leadership of the Congressional Black Caucus has taken on even greater importance, since she recently unveiled House Democrats' slate of police reforms in the wake of George Floyd's death and the nationwide protests for racial equality.

    3) Before politics, Bass' career was in healthcare as a physician assistant, notable experience as the country continues to face the COVID-19 pandemic. As the seriousness of the pandemic set in during late March, Bass joined Biden for a livestream event about the problems faced by medical workers on the front lines of the pandemic.

    4) In 2010, the congresswoman was honored with the Profile in Courage Award for her bipartisan work in striking a legislative deal to address the 2009 financial crisis in California. Bass and her fellow leaders "set aside party loyalties and ideological differences and fashioned a solution to rescue California from the brink of financial ruin," Caroline Kennedy said in delivering the award.

Ms. Bass is 66 years old. In addition to her participation in the Congressional Black Caucus, she also serves as Chair of the United States House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights and International Organizations and United States House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security. She also is a member of NUMEROUS other caucuses:

    • Congressional Black Caucus, Chair[33]
    • Congressional Caucus on Foster Youth, Founder and Co-Chair[34]
    • Congressional Coalition on Adoption (CCA)[35]
    • American Sikh Congressional Caucus
    • Congressional Addiction, Treatment and Recovery Caucus[36]
    • Coalition for Autism Research and Education (CARE)
    • Congressional Caucus on Black Men and Boys
    • Congressional Creative Rights Caucus
    • Congressional Diabetes Caucus
    • Congressional Entertainment Industries Caucus
    • Congressional Ethiopia Caucus
    • Congressional HIV/AIDS Caucus
    • Congressional International Conservation Caucus[37]
    • Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus
    • Congressional Library of Congress Caucus
    • Congressional Military Mental Health Caucus
    • Congressional Multiple Sclerosis Caucus
    • Congressional Quiet Skies Caucus[38]
    • Congressional Progressive Caucus
    • Congressional Social Work Caucus
    • Congressional Valley Fever Task Force

It's still too soon to pick favorites, but "Biden and Bass" has a nice ring to it.

Yes Bass belongs on the list...at least until a purity test finds something that she voted on that they don't like.

One of the 13 people that were on the New York Times list was Tammy Duckworth.

This morning, the Times published a more lengthy article about her - and she has a very compelling story to tell.

I just wonder if any V.P. will make an difference. I happen to see last night that one of Bidens "campaign" (helpers?) who also helped Hillary, was totally upset by all the mistakes and stumbles Biden makes. So I wonder if (due to his age) Biden suffers a bit of incoherence and a bit of alzheimer. Trump will for sure jump on it and "advertise" such for his campaign.

Unless he gets an very patient V.P. who corrects him all the time "before" he says anything.

Sorry people, I've written many threads, about that we actually needed an very strong "healthy" candidate who can tackle Trump.

However who ever pushed Biden forward are going to regret such. But yeah, the future will tell.

I'm ready to watch trump debate with Joe, and I hope Joe uses some choice words for trump's responses from a moderator's questions, and I'm not talking about Joe's "that's a bunch of malarkey either", I want Joe to tell trump he's "full of shit".
