I'm not a bit surprised. It will get worse instead of better. Just look at Trump's rally's; it is like throwing gasoline on the fire.

But yeah we have now already for 3 and a half years an imbecile in the W.H. ; that helps. DeSantis is an butt crawler, so he's not any better either.

Despite the fact that Maricopa county instituted a mandatory mask policy recently, Trump put on a rally at a 3000 seat church in Phoenix AFTER the rule went into effect. Needless to say, very few people in the audience word a mask.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich sent a cease and desist letter to Glendale-based Clean Air EXP and Dream City Church for their claims suggesting an air purification system neutralizes COVID-19.

The Attorney General's Office alleges that Clean Air EXP continues to advertise that its air filtration products neutralize 99.9% of viruses that are "COVID-19 surrogates," according to a Friday morning press release.

Previous representations on the company's website suggested that its filtration systems would "neutralize 99.9% of 'coronavirus,' when in fact this was based on testing of coronavirus 229E, a virus which causes the common cold," the press release said.

As further proof that you just can't fix stupid, Mike Pence had planned a campaign event in my home town this coming Tuesday - but wisely scrapped the as the state's COVID-19 cases soar past 70,000 and ventilator and ICU bed use again hit record highs.

With the crisis unfolding in Sunbelt states, Pence is still traveling to Texas, Arizona and Florida this week to meet with governors and their health care teams, the White House confirmed to The Arizona Republic Saturday. ALL OF THESE STATES RE SEEING A SPIKE IN CORONAVIRUS CASES.

Pence was to headline a "Faith in America" event in Tucson before that portion of his itinerary was scrapped. The decision came after Pence on Friday defended holding campaign rallies amid a deadly pandemic, during an election year.

So, even though Catholics and evangelicals are backing away from Trump, Pence is still playing that old "religion" playing card.

Officials with the campaign did not immediately respond to The Arizona Republic's request for comment. That event was intended to court voters of faith for the Republican ticket in the solidly-Democratic Pima County.

In the hours before Trump’s rally in Tulsa, his campaign directed the removal of thousands of “Do Not Sit Here, Please!” stickers from seats in the arena that were intended to establish social distance between rallygoers, according to video and photos obtained by The Washington Post and a person familiar with the event.

The removal contradicted instructions from the management of the BOK Center, the 19,000-seat arena in downtown Tulsa where Trump held his rally on June 20. At the time, coronavirus cases were rising sharply in Tulsa County, and Trump faced intense criticism for convening a large crowd for an indoor political rally, his first such event since the start of the pandemic.

As part of its safety plan, arena management had purchased 12,000 do-not-sit stickers for Trump’s rally, intended to keep people apart by leaving open seats between attendees. On the day of the rally, event staff had already affixed them on nearly every other seat in the arena when Trump’s campaign told event management to stop and then began removing the stickers, hours before the president’s arrival, according to a person familiar with the event who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters.

Trump had wanted every seat packed, and he told advisers coming in on Air Force One and at the arena he was displeased that the crowd was not larger, said two Trump advisers, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to relay private conversations.

He was quite angry,” said one person who interacted with him.

At least six members of the Trump campaign advance staff have tested positive for the coronavirus, including two Secret Service employees. Dozens of Secret Service officers and agents who attended the Tulsa rally were ordered to self-quarantine.

People in Arizona gathering at a river in masses, rafting, swimming, bathing, oh what fun they must be having, for now.......Meanwhile, in other areas of the country, Americans are being stupid, going to bars and restaurants, flea markets, concerts, people in Florida at beaches, UM, wtf man?

and on my homefront, my better 1/2 wanted to go to mother's house to hang out for her mom's B-day. I asked, didn't your mom just get back from a B-day party with your 1/2 sister with many people partying? Yes. I had to tell my better 1/2 the facts again about the coronavirus, it's spread by gatherings of people who might have it, and aren't sick, no symptoms, yet. I asked my better 1/2, do you want to be deathly sick? do you want to be in a hospital on a ventilator? do you want to die? do you want to make me sick too? All of this, and nobody wears a protective mask.

I have 3 big questions. America, WTF is wrong with you? Don't you get it yet? Are Americans really that dumb?

Trump should be arrested and incarcerated for promoting the spread of Covid-19.

Arizona -- The news is full of the rise in cases in your state. The news shows lines of cars with people waiting to be tested. However, one health provider interviewed said the back log is in the laboratory now...it can take seven days after testing to get the results. That's not good.

    Anyway be careful as always.

Dockadams -- Yes Americans are dumb and gullible.

I read this morning that in Alabama college students are having parties to see who can get Covid19 first. That is insane. While they're young and healthy their parents and grandparents aren't. That is an irresponsible action with no view of the bigger picture.

Some of the people in those "lines of cars" had to wait 13 hours to get tested, which is why a number of people simply gave up after a while.

Compare that to what to expect in November with the voting; both are "influenced" by the Trump mafia to obstruct and obstruct all the way so the "manipulated" numbers favor him. The trick is to make sure the sick are not counted, neither the "poor" who have no transportation or means to get to the voting booth, if at all there is an "voting" booth near their town. Amen.

Sorry people; that is what you get if you invite the "mafia" into the W.H.

And new news this morning, yes, a backlog in the labs, not only that, but now a shortage of swabs, tubes and ppe too? According to Pence, they have all of that taken care of, so it's under control.

and hey, how far does a $1200 stimulus check go?

Yes Dock, that is what you get if people elect an President who only wants to stand in the limelight in the beginning so he could "profit" from it to distribute (without any brains, the stuff they needed, since Trump never studied "logistics"). Now since he can't get credit for it, then he'll look for other things to score on. Like "lying" about the "unemployment numbers" these are total "fake" due to lots of unemployed people can't even get unemployment insurance or are denied. These people are not "counted" by Trump's "loyal" disciples.
