I'm glad you joined this forum. Although I don't agree with everything you have written so far, I DO agree with most of your thoughts, and appreciate your logical and coherent approach.
As Schmidt mentioned, troubles in the Middle East go back a LONG time. The History Channel reminded us this morning that Pope Honorius II granted a papal sanction to the military order know as the Knights Templar on this day in 1128, declaring it to be an army - which led to the Crusades.
