According to the Chinese calendar, 2020 is the year of the Rat, or more specifically the year of the White Metal Rat beginning January 25th and ending February 11th, 2021. What's the significance? Nothing really. But I kind of like the term "year of the rat" with the impending Senate hearings and Mulvaney and Bolton potentially appearing as witnesses to rat out Trump.

But white metal rat? I'll leave it to others to make some plausible inferences to Trump.

    Happy New Year everyone!

Okay, I did a Bing search, here it is:

The color of Yang Metal is white or golden. Therefore, Yang Metal Rat Year is the White Rat Year or Golden Rat Year. Yang Metal is connected to the sword, axe, gun or weapon. Yang Metal Rat is a fully armed Rat. Yang Metal also stands for metal boat, ship, submarine or strong wind. Jul 19 2019

Today, March 19, is Nowruz, also known as the Iranian New Year. We have friends who are Baha'is, and they also celebrate the New Year on this date.
