After the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottsville almost exactly two years ago, Trump said that there were "very fine people on both sides". Heather Heyer was killed when a car driven by James Alex Fields Jr. plowed into a crowd. Ultimately, he was sentenced to life in prison PLUS 419 years.

On the first anniversary of the rally, another one was held in Washington, D.C.

It attracted 30 people and THOUSANDS of protesters.

This weekend, a right wing rally is scheduled to be held in Portland, Oregon.

Self-described anti-fascists have vowed to confront the rally while leaders from the far right urged their followers to turn out in large numbers to protest the arrests of six members of right-wing groups in the run-up to the event.

In a Saturday morning tweet, President Donald Trump wrote "Portland is being watched very closely." He said federal authorities are considering "naming ANTIFA an ORGANIZATION OF TERROR."

Proud Boys, who have been designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, organized Saturday's event.

In addition to the Proud Boys, the white nationalist American Guard and the Three Percenters, a far-right militia, have said they will have members in Portland.

Hate group watchdogs say the Daily Stormers, a neo-Nazi group, are also expected.

    So ..

Trump is STILL supporting the right wing crazy people.

Heather Heyer's mom was just interviewed by CNN.

She thinks that things have gotten worse since Charlottsville - but she has a solution:

“We’re spending a lot of time yelling, name-calling, talking, talking, talking, but what are we doing to make a difference? That’s the question,” she said.

“And it starts in localities. It starts in local elections. It starts in state elections, county elections. You need to pay attention to those candidates. They have the bigger effect on your daily life and then you can also look forward to how you’re going to vote in 2020,” Bro counseled.

Forget it! Which ever way, this countries problems don't go away, as long as this stupid country maintains their antique outdated laws and corrupt voting system as well gun laws for "muskets", then nothing will change and this country will become an has been. Furthermore Trump will not just give up and leave the W. H. he will make sure via every corrupt means to again "win" because no one has taken any action to make voting "honest" or educate the voter. Just stick to the antique "electoral college" thing and he will find ways to "corrupt" it. Boycotting Steyer will not help the Dem's either; they will not have the backing of the "billionaires", but Trump does because of his tax "bonus" to them. None of the Dem candidates will be able to raise enough "money" to be able to "corrupt" the "system" as much as Trump. No, if no one changes this broken system of elections run by "money" and "lobbyists" forget it that this country ever will be normal. Anyone elected can therefore become the same "dictator" as Trump and nothing stands in the way, because Presidents here are "above the law" as has been proven over and over again. The refusal to "limit" the powers of any President will certainly help this country to drown into the swamp, especially if the people here are allowed to elect "mental patients" to be President.

Sorry to be negative, but the truth hurts. None of the candidates intents to change the "system" and will run into the same "brick" wall of ignorance and naive stupidity. Let the "circus" continue!

The government has been aware for a long time that race-driven extremism is a growing and serious threat to national security. The Homeland Security Department actually produced a report to that effect not long after Obama took office.

When the report was made public, it ignited a storm of protest, mostly from the right. Mike Pompeo, then a Republican congressman from Kansas and now secretary of state, said focusing on domestic terrorism was a “dangerous” undertaking born of political correctness that denied “the threat that radical Islamic terrorism poses.”

Within weeks, Janet Napolitano, then the homeland security secretary, rescinded the threat assessment. The report’s primary author left the government, and the department’s unit dedicated to tracking domestic terrorism was essentially disbanded.

Federal law enforcement has been tracking the rise of domestic terrorism. The F.B.I. director, Christopher A. Wray, told lawmakers last month that the bureau had arrested almost as many domestic terrorists as foreign terrorists this year. He said most of the racially motivated domestic terrorism cases were probably connected to white supremacy.

At one point, Kirstjen Nielsen, then the homeland security secretary, sought a regular meeting with Mr. Trump to brief him on a variety of topics including domestic terrorism, but her proposal was rejected by the White House, a person with knowledge of the effort said.

Government data shows that, since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, far-right extremists carried out nearly three times as many attacks on Americans in the United States as Islamic extremists did.

By 2016, after much quiet lobbying, the Homeland Security Department obtained the $10 million in funding from Congress for the community partnership program, seeing it as a step toward preventing radicalization.

Trump’s 2016 election, and his early efforts to implement the travel ban and to build a wall along the southern border, upended the program. For those already wary of the government, “it was a worst fear come true for organizations we spent literally years building trust with.

Sorry Arizona; it is not the terrorist; it is the government itself which is destroying this country. As long as nothing is done to the "base laws" and "laws" for Presidents and his cronies, nothing will change. I wrote about that many times. Trump can scream and holler all he likes; it is the "system" which allows it. Put an end to that! Amen!

Dutch, Its all about money. Give people living wages and they will have hope, make plans and have something to live for. Put them in stress and they will cling to or support anything they can identify with. Treat people well and they will act reciprocally.
