This is over the top. It's Trump's fault that this and other threats to lawmakers have been made. Of course, Trump would never accept responsibility if these threats were carried out.
The comment was written in response to a phony news article Rispoli shared that falsely accused Ocasio-Cortez of saying, “We pay soldiers too much.” On Wednesday, fact-checking site Snopes.com debunked that story as a fake.
The fact that Trump either believes, or generates, his own "fake news" is precisely why he is so dangerous.
