Several years ago Public Radio's "This American Life" had an episode that presented a perspective that Liberals tend to be less forgiving and less tolerant than Conservatives.
We can use sexual misconduct as an example. Conservatives give Trump a pass on his sexual abuse of women, while Liberals throw out anybody on their side that has any hint of sexual misconduct since the age of 18. Democrats forced Al Frankin out of office for sexual misconduct that borders the edges between jokes, flirtation, and unwanted invasion into personal space. Clearly no crimes were committed by Al Frankin, but his political career was over for walking too close to the line of no tolerance.
I think the situation is different; since the GOP is no longer there, but has become an "loyalist party" of Trump then you get the "dictator" effect. What is the case now. Since this fits the uneducated bunch, who also only look at Fox News and Sinclair, then none of the "left" or "right" matters anymore. Then the "dictatorship" rules and dictates what people should be doing. Hitler did it, and now Trump. "Left" will no longer matter. Parades are only part of the ploy.
It should be very clear that such is his objective; the G20 visit proved this again; that he wants to be like Kim or Putin or XI.
