For some reason, I am on the mailing list for several CONSERVATIVE publications, which gives me an "inside view" on how nutty the conservatives are.

This morning, I received the Daily Caller, which touched on a topic we've touched on a number of times - religion. Some of the quotes in the article below are so loony, I felt compelled to pass them on:

Catholic principles may be driving presidential policy for the first time in years, says acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney.

At the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, Mulvaney said that principles of the Catholic faith are manifested within the Trump administration, one of the reasons that Mulvaney himself is excited to be part of the administration.

I’m comfortable as a Catholic, even though I work for a gentleman (?) who is not Roman Catholic, that the principles of our faith are alive and well and well respected in this administration and are driving many of our policies,” Mulvaney said. “That is something I am extraordinarily proud to be a part of.”

(The Daily Caller was started by FOX news analyst Tucker Carlson in 2010).

Yes please bring the barf bucket; the Catholics are sweethearts for sure; they put people ("witches") on the "stake and burn them to death"; is that any better than "decapitating"? Religion is the curse of humanity; worse than the "black plague".

Sorry "religion" never should be part of "governing"; since it is an"indoctrinated" culture, it affects "clear" unbiased thinking.
