Yes "again". They developed an new weapon and tested it; they also stated that they never want to see Pompeo again.

I'm not surprised by that. he's an real dumb ass.

I guess no one is interested in our foreign policies which fail horribly. They rather live in an"has been" country.

Last night they had an "Korea" documentary on PBS; it showed clearly that the US made a mess of it and killed thousands of civilians. The government at that time was just about as bad as today and also lies prevailed.

I personally think all of this is caused by the "system" here where any situation is actually caused by not having proper laws nor any strict limits of power for our leaders. Because of it this country is now stuck with an total nutcase who can just continue, because he can stonewall the laws as long as he likes. The courts as well the wheels of justice move at an snails pace, so in the meantime the guilty one can do whatever he likes and built walls around himself. Having an "zillion" lawyers does not help either; they profit from having an piss poor law system which leads to corruption also by them.

As further proof that we live in a complicated world, one in which Trump is dangerously ignorant, the Associated Press has reported that the United States just seized a large cargo ship in Indonesia that was being used to supply coal to North Korea. International sanctions prohibit selling coal to the country, and the sanctions also prohibit the use of American dollars for the maintenance of the ship.

The coal on board the ship came from Russia, and the American banks were "hoodwinked". Officials say North Korea sought to conceal the vessel's purpose by listing in shipping documentation different countries for its nationality and the origin of the coal.

If Obama was still president, Vladimir Putin would get a blistering phone call about violating international sanctions - again.

    Trump won't do squat.

Meanwhile, he's bringing us closer to the brink of war with Iran, while ignoring far more egregious behavior on the part of the Saudis because he wants to sell them weapons AND NUCLEAR COMPONENTS.

    Yikes!

If the ship is Russian and the "coal" is Russian then the US is asking for trouble. I don't think the Russians and Indonesians will appreciate such. Do we want more wars then we already have? It also depends where the US intercepted this ship; if in Indonesian waters then the US has no business being there. This country ts asking for trouble!!

Trump knows that Russia did not interfere in the 2016 election because Putin told him so.

Trump also knows that North Korea did NOT just fire off some ballistic missiles recently, because Kim Jong Un told him so.

Kim Jong Un is “very smart,” Biden has a low IQ, and North Korea didn’t just launch ballistic missiles, Trump says.

If you're following along at home, though, you might remember that SEVENTEEN of our intelligence agencies knew that Russia had interfered in the 2016 election, and made that information available BEFORE the election, but the news got buried by Mitch McConnell.

If you read this morning's Washington Post, you'll notice that Japan and Dr. Strangelove (Bolton) advised him that North Korea HAD just launched some missiles.

Trump is either naive or stupid. Either way, he is a very dangerous man.

You should know by now that he always lies; thus nothing new. He says now that lots of companies are leaving China and are moving to the US. And "may be" we have an "deal" in the near future. La la land for sure.

Like you say "an very dangerous man" sorry it is worse than that, because he's "mental" and was trained by the "mob"

But what do normal countries do if they have an leader like that? You know the answer, but not here, with a "zillion" bribed lawyers and politicians. Amen

Trump said on his "pleasure outing" to Japan on Memorial Day of all things, (which he did not attend; pleasure trips are more important than having respect for our fallen soldiers) that it was not an bad thing at all that N.Korea launched some missiles. But yeah if Iran would do the same, then he would immediately "bomb" the place.

The foreign policies of this country have become laughable; no structure or looking "forward" with anything, let alone having an plan or policy in place, let alone have an "backup plan or evaluate eventual consequences..

Yes an total "banana republic" right now, be proud of it.

Dock you forgot one thing: He only loves himself all the way and wants to be pampered like an little baby; he does not even have a dog; if he had one he would kick the poor animal day and night.

In the meantime Kim had some people killed again because they did not follow his way. Trump would also love to do that.

    Dutch:

When you read the story posted below, it seems that North Korea is exactly the same as Russia under Stalin, when thousands of people were sent to forced labor camps.

Shin Hye Yong, the interpreter for Kim Jong Un at the Hanoi meeting, is also said to have been detained in a political prison camp, for undermining the authority of Kim Jong Un by making a critical interpretation mistake, Chosun reported.

Maybe some day in the future, we'll get a Korean version of the Gulag Archipelago.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gulag_Archipelago

Since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, The Gulag Archipelago has been officially published, and since 2009, is mandatory reading as part of the Russian school curriculum

Sadly, student in Russia are now better informed about the Soviet labor camps than many American students are about the Holocaust:

Thanks Arizona; my question is; what will the "future" bring for this country if our leader is in love with an murderer. In any other country that would be enough to have such person removed, but not here.

When Trump was asked by MSM journalists about NK firing missiles lately, he said he wasn't worried about it. I think people in SK and Japan are kind of concerned about it. Maybe MSM journalists should ask some of Japan's and SK's citizens if they're concerned at all. I would think they would be. More proof that Trump doesn't care about anybody but himself.

    Dock:

Trump is again taking North Korea's side instead of his own military and allies. Yesterday, he renewed his objections to joint military exercises with South Korea, calling them “ridiculous and expensive,” and added that dictator Kim Jong Un suggested missile tests would end once the drills are finished.
