His dirty little details and associates are typically hidden under 5 layers of lawyers. Not about the $'s as much as it is about who and how much he owes.

Thanks T.J. at least you are "awake" the rest of the "writers" are either sound asleep and don't care that this country goes to hell. (except Arizona)

The country is not "going to hell". The process will play out. It may take well beyond the 2020 election, and it could be a big factor in the election. Trump will lose this fight in the end.

Sorry Schmidt, it is going to hell! ask all the preachers:-P. The "process" is not as it should be. If not resolved with proper "laws' or stringent "laws" for the "limits" of Presidents as well "real" vetting for all prominent positions in the government, then in no time we will be back in the exact same situation as is now the case. Since no one has done anything about this in 300 years, then you think all of a sudden they wake up? Everything is now "unprecedented" , how come? Because our laws were never adapted to the times or people like Trump. Thus "going to hell" will mean, no longer an "normal" thinking Democratic country, being now number 130(?) on the list of countries who have their act together; for sure this country never has been number "one" anyway. So if Trump gets re-elected, what do you think will happen? Let alone if Democrats win by an slim margin; then you still will have McConnell, Jordan etc. So they will obstruct all the way; neither any proper "laws" will be drafted or see daylight, which I mentioned many times. Etc Etc.

What does "going to hell" even mean if you're an atheist?

Are we going through a tumultuous time in the country? Sure. But we've gone through many tumultuous times before and will go through more in the future.

Would you say we're better or worse off than the 1960's when dozens and dozens of race riots brought large swaths of major cities on the precipice urban warfare? Or are we better or worse off than the various labor riots that also brought about open warfare on many city streets? And don't even get me started on the lead up to, and the fighting of, the Civil War.

Preachers have been predicting the end of the world since The Book of Revelation was published and every one of them was wrong.

Please read in my text for my meaning of going to "hell"; sure I'm an atheist, but "hell" does not always means an "religious" term. Going through "hell" means; you've had an terrible day for sure or having an disaster happening to you.

Sorry to say things "politically" speaking they are likely worse than 1960, because the "world" around us has changed. Our actions as well "meddling in the world will have bigger consequences than at that time. ( You are only looking at what happened in this country; with the blinders on) Don't forget all the newer technology as well such as rapid "news" and "cellphones" as well "media" and its indoctrination etc. On top of that we have now an President for the first time who "steps" on all of our laws and "rules"; 9/11 had not happened either yet let alone Korea with "nukes"

The only thing changed from 1960 is that this country has become more arrogant and naive related to the rest of the world. I don't think Obama would have called Putin and told him all our secrets as Trump just did. etc. Let alone be "buddies" with Kim and let him play with "nukes"

So I think "times have changed quite a bit, but the "education" as well "laws" in this country has not caught up with it; especially in "governing" which is going downhill all the way because of it.

Since Trump is his own worst enemy, he just gave the House of Representatives a very good reason to look at his taxes. After the New York Times reported that Trump had lost over $1 billion over a decade, he said that the losses were conjured up to avoid taxes. For real estate developers like him, tax ploys were “sport.”

If your memory is good, you may remember that Leona Helmsley had the same attitude about taxes that Trump does. Famously, she said, "we don't pay taxes; only the little people pay taxes." She was investigated and convicted of federal income tax evasion and other crimes in 1989. Although having initially received a sentence of sixteen years, she was required to serve only nineteen months in prison and two months under house arrest.

Okay, someone explain to us naysayers the meaning of the "process" and how it'll work itself out?

How can we expect the so called process to work itself out when the dictator who occupies the white house has appointed Mnunchin and Barr? Mnunchin the treasury secretary refuses congressional request/s, and Barr in charge of the DOJ?

In 2020, there's a good chance the GOP will regain control of both chambers, what then? Punt? I haven't seen or heard of one GOP leader go against the grain of Trumpism. They're worse than groundhogs, not afraid or their shadows at all, only afraid of trump.

And hey, BTW, Leona Helmsley wasn't the president and didn't appoint trolls in government departments.

I think it's safe to say that this country is and has been going to hell, and not in a biblical sense either.

It's a bitch when you have wolves and coyotes watching over the chicken coop. Just watch all of this shit to get swept under the rug, not all democrats have the intestinal fortitude to go after this dictator and his mob clan. The GOP is AWOL.

Since I do not believe America has a Republic anymore but instead a war mongering, war criminal, lawless, corrupt, fraud ridden Oligarchy the odds the Don will ever have to reveal his taxes are a million to one since he has already stacked the Supreme Court with his Stooges that really do believe the President is above the law no matter what he does and no matter how many laws he breaks and of course without the rule of law one ends up with a dictatorship.

The Dems are wasting their time trying to impeach this creep since there is no way those Robber Baron Stooge Republicans in the U.S. Senate will ever impeach him no matter how many laws he breaks.

And one can only hope the Dems quit blaming the Russians for their own mistakes and start resolving the serious problems America is now facing.

LOL...I can't even remotely believe that whopper. That is on par with Donald Trump. Trump would love it if every single word of that were true!

What "whopper"? May be Connie says it an bit "rough", but what is your view of our present situation?. Don't forget that also in the "courts" Trump made sure "his" people are implanted; he indeed built an "wall" around himself. So regardless of the right procedures and process the Dem's do; there will be lots of opposition and stonewalling. Therefore I belief a lot still can happen until the 2020 election. The only thing which may help the Dem's is if the economy "tanks" because of his stupid trade wars and international stupidity like an war with Iran etc. If so, then the Dem's can impeach.
