The Sackler family is a tale of what horrific harm Capitalist greed can do.

For decades the opioid epidemic in America has murdered 10's of thousands of Americans and created many more drug addicts whose lives were ruined.

Big Pharma who is one of the main owners of that corrupt Oligarchy in Washington DC made sure their stooges in that Oligarchy did nothing to stop this on going mass murder of the American people because the opioids were worth billions to the Sackler Family and the Sackler family knew all along how destructive and addictive their deadly drugs were and this whole family should be tried for mass murder and executed .

The question is "Why did the doctors keep prescribing this deadly drug?!"

Cheap and it works. Destructive personalities are a fact of life. People don't change in general. The ones that can't change need relief. I think the whole opioid scare had been fabricated by big pharma because they can't charge the afflicted dependent people thousands of dollars a month instead of a hundred. People in general would probably go along with outlawing opioid. That would be unbelievable cruelty for people dependent on the drug. But the general logic in the USA is like with cigarette laws. People that don't smoke say "I don't smoke so fuck em" The country needs understanding to solve problems . Not fuck em, doesn't effect me.

Alcohol-Related Deaths: An estimated 88,000 people (approximately 62,000 men and 26,000 women8) die from alcohol-related causes annually, making alcohol the third leading preventable cause of death in the United States. The first is tobacco, and the second is poor diet and physical inactivity.

There are bigger problems than helping big pharma raise the price of opiods 5000%.

Chet, don't forget antibiotics and chemo treatments; it does more harm than good; it kills all the bad bacteria, but also the good one's, chemo kills the cancer cells, but also the good one's. My wife's sister had chemo; she got killed by it. the chemo made her skin raw and blistery; she could not eat her mouth was that swollen she could not even stand on her feet; everything was bloody and swollen. She looked as an "burn" victim. I call this criminal. In the Netherlands they've totally stepped back from antibiotics; and give it only as last resort.

Yes it is time to develop "natural" non invasive treatments and not staying on the "track" of dangerous chemicals.

Dutch, Medicine is an art and not a science. They have no way of extrapolating results. Consequently if something shows promise they go with it based more on the statistical probability of improvement. Consequently unintended results can appear. Plus they play on the promise of life to induce people into troublesome problematic treatments.

I also wonder about "approvals" I would not be surprised if an new "drug" comes on the "market" that "money" or "bribery" plays no role. Also the "push" on TV for "drugs" makes it feel like they are selling "candies". Crazy country for sure.
